I heard that he initially wanted to play WKX because he liked the character more, but at the end they chose him to play ZZH. He did an outstanding job though especially when ZZH is much harder to play than WKX. I think some viewers may find him boring only if they fast forward or skip scenes so they don’t understand his character enough.

But you’re probably right. That drama was from 2019 or 2020. I think starting in 2021 the regulations in c-ent got tighter, so minimal abusive scenes in this drama, if any.

Hmm have you watched “The Confidence?” That cdrama was quite abusive and even after cutting out a lot of the abusive scenes to pass the final review, it was still pretty dark. I hope the ML here is much less ruthless.
