Same here! I was waiting for him to gain back his powers the whole time and when he finally did, I was ecstatic! In addition to his friendship with Lei Wujie and Wuxin, and Dashixiong, I also liked watching him interacting with his older brother Bai Wang. I wish they had more scenes together.

Apparently he was well known in the drama The Long Ballad (cp with ZLS) and he also played the 2ML in Heroes and the ML in an upcoming drama with Liu Shishi. I’ve only seen one of his dramas though, The Long Ballad, but apparently he is quite famous in China. He also sings the OST in various dramas.

You can watch the anime and read the novel too! I’m not sure if they have english subs though. I already watched blood of youth three times from beginning to end barely fast forwarding any scenes. And each time I find new micro expressions of Xiao Se, it’ quite fun.

No idea...there's no news at all..I'm looking forward to see his Flying Up Without Disturb and his old dramas that have yet to air, like Winner is King and The Fated General. Even though the last two dramas he is only a supporting character, the production quality is very good and The Fated General also has Zhang Ruo Yun and Bai Yu. If any of his old dramas were to air, I wouldn't be as antsy as I am now. I'm not worried about which drama he will choose next. Honestly I don't care if he will be the ML or the 2nd ML either, I just need to see him start filming something soon. But if I could choose, I hope he can try playing roles such as a detective, psychopathic serial killer, vampire, forensic doctor, zombie hunter in a post-apocalyptic setting like in the novel Undead, an embroidered uniform guard like in the Pledge of Allegiance, a mentally disabled person who used to be very smart, a triad boss , undercover cop... All in all, characters and scripts that can give him a bit of a challenge and improve his acting range.

Okay finished ep1! It’s alright so far and want to continue watching for Kim Woo Bin. It seems that the plot is quite different from the webtoon though.

I wish this drama ended on ep 12.

Umm if you read the novel, you would know that zhang zhehan is playing zhou zishu correctly since zhou zishu does not wear his heart on his sleeve. And I didn’t find his face blank… like of course there are scenes where he is depressed because he’s about to die soon. I mean if he was smiling all the time, then that will be really out of character.

Did anyone read the novel? Does the novel have a happy ending?
