To save anyone trouble. FL is the night deity. Of course the story drags where the ML was a sword master to kill night deity aka FL to protect the 3 realms. He want to change fate so he end up sacrifice himself to be a fake night deity (be a vessel) by absorbing all the powers from FL as you can see from previous episodes. Now FL is a sword master to kill night deity which is ML. I am glad they show the memories of what the ML did. I think it is quite repetitive to kill FL 3 times and wait 300 hundred years for her to be reborn again. Once the FL founds out I am like damn it look 15 episodes to come where we are. I might just wait for all the episodes to come out and binge watch the remaining 9 episodes left.

I gave it 4 since I am almost done with the episodes haha. I trust the hard critic comments more than the positive comments. From there I make my own judgement while watching the drama. Sometimes when the drama is overhype you really question is it that good? I have seen a few dramas that are not overhype and it was amazing.
I saw your review and I agree with you! We have similar views on the perfect character analysis. If there is no development of the character and they are simply handed glory what is the point of watching? The female lead becames a princess make no sense whatsoever. If you look at other dramas in order for the female lead to become a princess she needs to marry that royal family and that is a long process. The royal family want to fight against it you know the drill. The romance girl.... there are so many kisses that is not genuine anymore. It is seen as alright let's kiss and get this over with, the CGI scenery haha. Hopefully there will be more good dramas coming soon :)

The ending wasn't satisfying in my opinion. Ji Yun Chao ends up taking her own life after stabbing Qiu Xian Er so she can't be controlled anymore. Then it flips to real life where Qiu Xian Er is actually a hospital patient and everything was a story she wrote. Her computer got messed up. It ends with Ji Yun Chao rewriting the ending on how Qiu Xian struggle during that time. idk girl you let me know how you feel after watching it LOL!

That is true everyone likes their drama differently :) I know that POB episode was cut off from 40 to 36 so it could explain why the ending was rush due to the China drama regulation. Sometimes I do wonder if they did include that extra 4 episode would it make a difference. But hey girl I respect your comment!
