I started watching the drama and continued to watch the drama cause of expectations for Romance but now I'm watching it for the business storyline..! First Workplace drama that I watch, which is actually about business & not just romance ;-)

Wait for upcoming dramas :) as a Timmy Xu fan., I'd say this is probably his best drama till date. Other characters were too shallow & even as his fan, I didn't enjoy plot or storyline but all of his upcoming dramas are more promising

Some might find their relationship like abusive, harassment but.. as someone who thought the same but give it a go with the Book version as the drama was abruptly ended cause of the ban.. I can understand every character..
The drama is called "Addicted" for a reason! Gu Hai & Bai LuoYin are ADDICTED to each other ! And most times Addictions can be harmful but we all have those Addictions don't we..?
There are so many details I loved about the drama (I watched it first time about 5 months ago & I've been rewatching it ever since) like Gu Hai providing the warmth BLY longs for all the time.. taking care of him & so much details that I don't even want to explain, cause if I do, I'll rewatch it like right now :)

Finally yes.. I love Yuzhou sooo muchhh !

I agree with you totally here ! I do not blame the ending. Both Our XiaoJian's death & Ma XiaoXiao marrying Yi DongDong is acceptable & logical but what I wanted to see was Ou XiaoJian getting some recognition and honor after his death, they showed us how disappointed the Mayang Street residents were with Ou XiaoJian but never showed us how their response would change after knowing the truth & someone said that there was a final letter of Ou XiaoJian to Ma XiaoXiao but it was cut after editing. I don't know how much true this is.. Maybe another episode or two to give a proper closure for Ou XiaoJian would've made the drama even better & people won't be this much disappointed with the ending on that case

Agree with you totally! Just that if the process of XiaoXiao moving on from XiaoJian was better shown, I would have accepted it in a better way just like I said we got just 4 Episodes to move on from the first 33 Episodes whereas XiaoXiao have 7 years. I have nothing against Mxx-Ydd but I do hope they would have given better recognition for Ou XiaoJian. Let people honour his service as I really don't get how & why Ma XiaoXiao doesn't want to know what exactly happened to Ou XiaoJian after she found the files in his computer & also the password for the encrypted file had something to do with the "Tale of two cities" book she returned??

Still not over the ending (TT) I could have accepted the same ending with a better logical run to it. It's just that XiaoXiao got 7 years to move on from XiaoJian & what we got was just 4 Episodes to Forget their love in the previous 33 Episodes (TT)

But yeah I can understand most of your points so it's just that Ou XiaoJian was Ma XiaoXiao's past !.. She stopped loving him since that 7 years leap right..?
But again, if she truly loved Ou XiaoJian deeply won't there be any guilt & regret for Ma XiaoXiao.. Anyways my heart breaks for Ou XiaoJian

Wait? Wasn't it like Ou XiaoJian was found out after Ma XiaoXiao revealed the truth? Ou XiaoJian was suspected & probably killed after Ma XiaoXiao revealed all the truth? How come it turns to Ma XiaoXiao helping Ou XiaoJian Complete the job? And Ma XiaoXiao doesn't even know the truth about Ou XiaoJian for 5 years.. I can understand her moving on but the person I least wanted to be her partner is Yi DongDong. Cause let's be practical, how can a person you treated as a friend for years suddenly become the person you love, cause there wasn't anything that led to their Romantic relationship isn't it? And now that the truth is out there, how can their life be peaceful? Wouldn't it be filled with regrets? Especially for Ma XiaoXiao.. and Yi DongDong who knows how much Ou XiaoJian & Ma XiaoXiao loved each other, will he be able to live like nothing happened after all that?
If this a tragic ending for Ou XiaoJian, so it is for Ma XiaoXiao & Yi DongDong.. what kind of peace they'll have in end after knowing the truth behind Ou XiaoJian

Here is what happened :
Oxj nearly closed the case but out of nowhere Mxx ends up being the one who reveal all the truth of the crime gang & gets rewarded & the gang thinks that it was Oxj who revealed it & thus killed him.. YDD proposes to MXX & MXX admits she likes him. After 5 years, Ma XiaoXiao is married with Yi DongDong, they have a child & thats when they know about Ou XiaoJian being an undercover & his sacrifices & thus the ending

The end can't be more ridiculous anyway

I knew this ridiculous ending weeks ago but yeah I still can't accept it when I saw it

All that I hope for is Ou XiaoJian to have some peace towards the end T_T

Omg, I can understand your bias for YDD here but come on, how come OXJ be just a bro on the street when he dearly wanted to protect the people on the street! In the entire story he was misunderstood by all the people in the street, I can understand that because they don't know the entire truth but how as an audience, you misunderstand him is beyond Imagination. And it's not like OXJ & MXX should end up together for being childhood sweethearts but because they both deserve to be together, she was there for him everytime & he does care for her!! He can't be like YDD, funny, outgoing doing whatever he wishes. He has restraints cause of the career he chose and cause of that didn't he finally pushed her away from him for her good? How could you blame him?
And about YDD, its true that he loves her so much but I just don't feel anything major that leads upto her falling in love with him though I still think she'll accept YDD's love in the end.

They should once & for all stop relate works to personal life.
