Korean Drama " The Tale of The Nine-Tailed Season 2 1938 " is the continuation of the story of the 2020 fantasy drama. This time, the story goes back in time, focusing on the family bonds, rather than the romance, which, in this case, was limited as a subplot, which really aided the drama.
The drama, in addition, blended smoothly the action scenes with mythological and historical elements, as well as with more emotional plotlines along with enjoyable comedy.
The costumes were, moreover, spot on and pleasing. The performances were great as well.
So, overall, 8.5 out of 10.

Korean Drama " Black Knight " is a sci fi drama taking place in a dystopian future. The drama is full of action, political manipulation, and, underneath all that, human relationships.
The action scenes, first of all, were pretty enjoyable, with nicely choreographed fighting scenes and interesting twists.
The main plot is also intriguing, with the relationship between the boy and the Knight being the center and heart of it.
However, this drama is one of those series that needed more time to properly develop. Unfortunately, its length meant that the story is rushed and everything happened too quickly and too sudden.
Therefore, the political drama was not fully explored, in addition to being predictable and boring.
On the other hand, the performance were great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama " Jinxed At First " is a romantic comedy with a dark twist. The first part is lighter and has plenty of sweet, adorable moments. However, after that, things got confusing and repeatetive. The mystery was boring and all over the place and the drama kept focusing on its weakest plotlines, rather than its strongest.
The romance, in addition, was cute and the couple had chemistry, but the ending was a let down. Also, the love story was predictable and there were some overdramatic moments.
Finally, the performances were great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, three out of ten.

Korean Drama " The Innocent Man " is a melodrama with a romantic twist. The main problem, however, of this drama is its characters. They weren't all annoying, but they were idiots or acting like idiots. Nothing of what happened should have happened if they were using their brains, for instance. And they kept acting without thinking and then pretending to be victims.
Other than that, the drama used any cheesy trop that ever existed in dramaland and to the biggest extend possible. And not in an enjoyable way. Therefore, the romance got tiring and unbelievable.
The performances, finally, were pretty good.
So, overall, two out of ten.

Korean Drama " Narco - Saints " is a thriller that feels like a western production. It is well made and the production is impressive, with nice shots and intense action scenes. The settings, prompts, and costumes were all spot on as well.
And even though the story is interesting, is predictable and generic. It almost feels like it shies off some more shocking scenes, while trying to produce that feeling in other parts, especially at the start of the drama.
The ending, though, wrapped up everything nicely.
The performances, finally, were great and powerful by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama " The King of Pigs " is a serial killer story with a slow build-up.The drama is truly dark, not shying away from the gore, which wasn't only there for the shock effect, but to enhance the intensity of the drama. The background story was near horrifying and is being explained slowly, as it helps uncover the current murder case as well.
In addition, the performances were great by everyone in the cast.
And the ending suited the drama perfectly, with the pace of the story fast. The cinematography of the series was pretty impressive too, with the flashbacks well handled.
So, overall, eight out of ten.

Korean Drama "Bloody Heart" is a feast of beautiful camerawork, excellent lighting, atmospheric settings, and just right costumes. The story starts strongly, and the love story sets strong foundations for what is there to come next. And yet, what does come next is a letdown. It was boring more than anything, and the whole political battle lacked intensity and the right plot twists.
As for the performances, they were all great, and the main couple had chemistry.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Korean Drama "Anna" is a short but to the point drama. It tells the story of a woman who starts with a lie that takes over and, eventually, she starts living under a fake identity. The story feels rushed at times, as the time limit is short and the drama aims, successfully, to wrap up everything by its ending. And true, there were some stories that needed to be further explained, or more naturally presented, but the performances truly steal the spotlight. They help the drama a lot and all of the actors and actresses did a great job with their characters.
So, overall, eight out of ten.

Korean Drama "Monstrous" has the right vibes and an interesting concept, however, it was too rushed. The drama has nice cinematography, dark and close to a gothic horror mood. The main story is also compelling, being well entangled with the characters' own backgrounds.
However, the drama was too short for the story. So, more often than not, it was rushed, with a rushed ending and fast paced presentation of the characters' stories.
The performances, on the other hand, were all enjoyable.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama "Crime Puzzle" is a dark tale of a deep secret. The drama starts off on a mysterious note, with the main case being introduced. And truly, there were really dark moments, twists, and intriguing scenes as the mystery was unfolded. However, things were bleak after the first episodes. It seemed like things were happening a bit on the overtone in order to bring out the shocking factor rather than aid the plot. In addition, the story kept ending characters, getting more and more complicated and confusing.
On the other hand, the performances were pretty great, especially by the main leads.
So, overall, 3.5 out of 10.

Korean Drama "Artificial City" tried to be something, but left all the plotlines half baked. The drama starts strongly, with the introduction of the family and the main lead, with hints about her past and an intriguing second female lead with lots of secrets. However, the drama adds too many stories, which hardly blend smoothly together, as well as have a proper conclusion.
The ending was okay, original and realistic, though the drama had created the mood of revenge and having those at fault being responsible for their crimes.
On the other hand, the performances were intense and emotional.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama "Dr. Brain" is a masterful sci-fi thriller that provides a solid mystery. What Dr. Brain offers is a suspenseful plot that keeps the audience hooked till the very last minute. With intense performances to boot, a mystery that is slowly being unfolded, an interesting sci-fi element, and engaging characters, the drama creates the right atmosphere, with dark shades that come close to the horror element at times.
However, the CGI were bad and almost ruined the mood at times. The horror, flashy scenes were also a bit overused and nearly shifted the focus from the character based mystery to a psychological thriller.
Still, the ending was brilliant, leaving it to the viewer to interpret what actually happened.
So, overall, 8 out of 10.

Japanese Drama "Tsumari Suki tte iitai n Dakedo," is a predictable rom com that doesn't fail to entertain. The drama has plenty of cute moments and it's loaded with cliche trops, but the theme of the filing industry was pretty entertaining and it was nice to see some behind the scenes of how the dramas are filmed, or the everyday of an actor. However, and even though the drama tried to give some substance to the characters, they were left us cells with barely any personality and, of course, any character development. And yet, despite the shallowness of the story, the drama is quite entertaining, with a couple that worked well together and had chemistry.
The performances, moreover, were pretty great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Mini Series 'The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim' started nicely but ended up being a rushed, predictable drama.Probably what doesn't help the drama at all was the ending. It was rushed, with bad CGI and a predictable conclusion. The progress of the story was messy as well and one doesn't get to see the characters' background stories, their personalities, dreams, and ambitions. You only get to see them as a superficial role that they just have to take. Even the love story felt forced and didn't proceed naturally, even though the leads did have chemistry.
On that note, the performances were all great, even from the side characters, who were, unfortunately, pushed aside due to the short length of the drama, as did the progression and presentation of the universe of the story.
So, overall, four out of ten.

Korean Drama "Strangers From Hell" is a dark story that builds up to the great final twist in the end. The only thing that was missing was a bit of a more craziness of the main villain. All the others were mad enough to be triggering the insanity of the main character. The latter was the star of the drama and the sole focus of it, as his downfall was well-orchestrated, even though there were evidence from the start that something was off that he himself was trying to suppress.
The performances, finally, were all great from everyone in the cast and the atmosphere pretty dark and suspenseful.
So, overall, 7 out of 10.
