the actress for FL is the best for this role. I can't think of another actress that could fulfill this role as good as she has.

Being spoilt - doesn't necessary mean being loved. Yu'er was not shown love. His father keeping his love for his son in a notebook was cowardice and the biggest contribution to his son's demise. Yu'er needed a dang on hug...lol

I cried when the everyone defeated General Zhou and convinced him to disarm and take the throne. OMG, the thought of losing your wife, children, grandchildren and family and not being able to vent your rage is heartbreaking. For him to let little Fan boy live in peace was too much for me. But he honored his sworn brothers word anyway. only if Emperor Fan would have listened to him...ugh.

The family that helped stabilize the country through bloodshed destroyed...that was unexpected but it definitely added to the show

the emperor was partly to blame because he never showed his son love. Yu'er became mentally weak that's why he was easily manipulated. He didn't start off evil. actually he wasn't even evil. He felt isolated, abandoned, and then fear. He reacted out of fear from losing his father to others then fear from losing the throne.

ALL IN ALL...he should have been killed for his stupidity and weakness that cost so many lives.

even though they kept him drugged and manipulated him, I still wanted to see him die... ijs
