For me ZS sounded like he was taking his last bet to see if the FL would choose him and when she didn’t he chose to end his ZhengShi identity. There’s a cut scene someone shared here that shows ZhengShi died but LouQiyan is still alivenat the end. So he freed himself from the Zheng name and burdens to live freely as LouQiyan BUT the drama cut that scene and just let him die 🙄

I hope DW takes more ml dramas soon 🤧if being 2ml means getting your ending cut then just take ml scripts 🫠he’s a good actor but too few dramas. Although this drama was messy and disappointing at times, I’m still glad to meet ZhengShi 💕

I would’ve much rather that ending because he never really did villainy and he helped the ml and fl a lot. I don’t understand why they couldn’t let him live on as LouQiyan ugh

Yes quite annoyed with this ending. DW fans said there was a scene where LQY comes back at the end but the drama seemed to have cut that part. That would’ve been more acceptable for me. Someone smart like ZS why would he end his life for unrequited love. It’d make more sense to get rid of ZS and let LQY live the life he’s always wanted.

I don’t understand why he has to die..he’s not even a villain or done anything so terrible that would deserve such an ending..just because fl didn’t love him back? Sigh

I hope we get express soon ..there’s really no need to drag the episodes any further 🤧

I really thought the ml would mature after seeing Zheng yuan sacrifice himself to help him. Like see the bigger picture but no ml is back to being jealous brat again. And leave to be with the fl when so much is going on.

I was happy to see DW and Riley scenes but the thought of it actually being the ml and his annoying jealousy bothered me 🤦🏻‍♀️how long will he keep being jealous like this
