I think in the novel Jing didn’t know where XL took XY after crashing the wedding and wasn’t expecting for her to go find him. I also think that TSJ knows XL is loyal to his men therefore why would he think XL would gamble on that, there is no need for it. Because they’ve been in “business” together for hundreds of years so if anything TSJ and XL should know each other quite well or well enough. I think tsj just wanted xl to stop XY from getting married but it’s not that he wanted her back because he was still married and hasn’t cleared himself of what happened with him and FFYY so why would he expect XY to run to him? That part in the drama I didn’t understand because he said he was giving her a chance to choose it didn’t make sense. It’s inconsistent imo.

So disappointed with the recent episodes. They cut so many YJ moments from the novel, not even cut but shared their scenes with the other mls. Their sweet starry night of just YJ became YJ + cx, the proposal that got cut, XY introducing Jing to her mom became YJ + CX and then XL goes there too and bows to XY's parents when Jing did not even get to do it but then how can he when they took out the proposal. Even yj kiss scene became a yj+xl, if they hate the official cp so much why didnt they just change the drama cp then rather than insult yaojing's pure love like that. Jing became some kind of background character, if they were going to make these changes and do that to him then they should just kill him off instead of treating him this way.
The pacing of this season so far has already been terrible since everything feels rushed but we all want to watch our fave so we stay but it's really such a shame that it had to go this way.

thinking back to when Jing and FL were together and seeing Jing with Lirong Chang, it makes me wonder perhaps Jing was once like them too, before what Huo put him through. I'm so happy for Jing to have such a good friend by his side too.
I'm so happy yaojing was able to finally sit down and talk it out. A much needed talk for not only them but the audience too. Because some people couldn't understand her nor her actions but hopefully after the talk they can understand why she is the way she is.
I wish people would respect the characters and not push their own preferences and likes onto the characters, XY has been through enough she doesn't need people telling her who and why she should love who she loves.
She's just wants a simple life with someone that would love her and puts her first, there's nothing wrong with that at all. idk why that is so hard for people to understand. She may love all three guys in various ways but ultimately only one of those 3 guys is willing to be the one to hold her hand and not let go no matter what.
Also, finally it feels somewhat safe to come back to this discussion page. For a time this place was so overrun by toxic fans that want to shove their own beliefs down people's throats so i avoided it for so long but now seeing more people here it feels like an actual discussion page.
TSJ not only broke XY heart but mine too 😭 how can he be drugged for easily and now he even has a baby with that evil lady. Why did he even stay in the same room as that evil fiancée of his if she’s trying to kill herself just let be 🤦🏻♀️ I was so into their love story until he broke her heart and mine.
On episode 5 and realized this is like a love square or pentagon? 😂 this is my first time watching any of the male actors dramas so far I like ShiQi the most, he’s so soft and gentle. XL seems ok although I’m not into the tsundere type anymore and the whole blood sucking thing is off putting but I’ll give him a chance . What are the chances of there being a nine tail fox and a nine head demon in one drama 🤭 I haven’t watching a childhood sweetheart trope in awhile so this should be interesting with CX. I like a good strong independent fl story and so far she’s great even though she doesn’t seem to have powers. When will the last guy appear?
