I just finished the novel. But how come XY doesn’t remember her promise marrying CX. she gave several chances to Jing and XL but only one chance to CX 😭 I’m Jing side but my heart is so unsettled for CX.

I just finished the novel and I had bucket of tear. I totally agree that Dengwei portray Jing so well or another word he is born for be Jing. I love that all actors have read the novel more than one times I bet and they all are extraordinary actors - I would praise XY and CX the since they have many heavy crying scenes which are very exhausting and of course XL too.
But now my heart is broken for some reasons… do you know the sequence of the novel is good to read?
when XL has sneaked in to shoot the arrow at CX, did he intend to kill CX? or he intend to call Fonglong? my heart is broken for everyone esp Fonglong since he is death 😭😭😭

My heart is so unsettled that I don't know if I am happy or sad that CX finally showed his feelings toward XY while he hides what he has done to Ying.
What if CX is genuine and has never done anything to Ying? And, after CX confessed his feelings, after 500 years XY agrees to get married to CX and that's the end? would it be the good ending of this series at Chapter 46?
I wonder if she heard it when CX talked abt the flower he put in her head in the last eps. I wish she understands…
i totally agree with you on this. Like you said, at least she should have known about his feeling and whether she accepts his love or not is totally up to her.
this is a fantasy series; of course, the writer has decided that way, so be it. But, in real life would people should have known or sensed another person whether he/she likes them or not.
I am playing what ifs and a million scenarios in my head on how not to hurt anyone feeling while trying to figure out what reasons the writer has decided like that 🤣I just love all characters in this series.

I wouldn't love everything about him... just some aspects! But, I'm going to hate him when he will hurt/k*ll Jing and others (i'm only in Chapter 40).

In the first 5-6 esp, she keeps asking CX about Ah Nhe whether they are lover and travel around together…
a part of me feel sorry for CX - unrequired love 😭but not to mention that he is a good person all the time.
