Hey, I just wanted to let you know of these things incase you weren't aware of how badly these real life issues are portrayed in tharntype. A lot of people are very easily impressionable and carry on with the mindset that whatever happens in these shows are ok and apply them in real life. As long as you know the problems with the show and are able to distinguish reality and fiction its all good :) I apologize I did not intend on making you feel guilty and bad I was only trying to make you aware. I should've worded my statements a bit better :/

I'm not sure if you realized but tharntype features one of the most unhealthy and toxic relationship ever. Tharn sexually assaults Type (in the first episode when he was drunk) and Type is verbally abusive towards him throughout. The show never really addresses the issues with either of their behaviors and essentially glorifies and uses Type's r*pe as a plot device. And Lhong's character is the absolute worst. Hiring someone to r*pe a high school kid?? Absolutely insane. Its honestly fine if these characters are written as villians but they are written in a way to be sympathized with which is the problem. None of them ever get condemned for the actions they commit and real life emotionally damaging and traumatizing situations are treated as nothing. I know its hard to find faults in a show you really like, but please just look back at these characters and just think, do really you see any genuine love between them?

Seriously I am just astounded how this woman is still given a platform by these media companies... they're all just after the big bucks her projects bring in for some reason huh... just came from the teaser, it doesn't look too bad but it was literally just a 20 second clip of the mls staring at each other so its too early to say anything. I still have no hope

bro wtf... there's just so much here to unwrap. first off all im not a "western woman" wtf does that even mean. You're literally assuming my gender and race. Are you trying to tell me that its common for boys to play around and force a kiss upon each other? Yeah I have no idea how you thought that that is normal because its really not. And no, I don't know how close you are with your friends but I don't go groping around my friends of of "curiosity" or "laughs". Ling Zi ming was clearly uncomfortable with the kiss and that's why he pushed cheng yi away. You shouldn't be defending those actions.

please whoever is wondering whether to watch, please don't be swayed by the low ratings! This is definitely an 8 at least in my opinion. The cast is really doing a good job I think Jin Gun has amazing comedic timings and the expressions he pulls of are so entertaining. Even his sad moments are done well. Cheong ha is also doing a great job and definitely surpassed my expectations! The supporting characters are really good too I really like Jeong ha she's super pretty <3. The production quality is high I mean a lot of the shots and editing is done really well and the music is imbedded in well. Even I was thrown off by the woman reincarnating as a man trope but its doing well with it so far. I really liked the scene where Jeong ha confronts Yeon seok as to why he doesn't like Yeon.

yeah that scene between xiang lin and yu zhi was a little sus ngl...

Wasn't a fan of the trailer because Cheng yi literally forced kissed ling zi ming TWICE, but after checking it out its not that bad! I'm excited to see their relationship transform and I just hope that everything done between them will be consensual

yeah i actually wasn't convinced on watching this show until a recommended video came up of bookforce and they were literally hilarious

tbh while i agree with most of the criticisms towards futs i do think it was a bit too unwarranted at some places. and comparing it with 1000 is just honestly ridiculous

yeah i def felt like he was a bit awkward with podd, he seems much more comfortable as dan and his chemistry with first is really good in not me

the way this series treats what nuea is doing as normal is honestly really creepy. im really disappointed i expected more from this show especially because Saint was involved in the production

I'm kind of disappointed with how the production company is dealing with the international fans. I saw somewhere that apparently one of the actors who was on live said that there will be english subs provided + the official twitter (i think) likes a lot of tweets regarding fans who are asking for subs. But then a lot of people on here are saying that it won't be subbed. I just wish they provided a concrete answer so I won't have to wait forever with my hopes up.
