does anyone have any idea how the overall rating on mdl is decided? is it the rating we give individually and then the average is taken of it? im really curious. this show is wayy better than a 7.7 and deserves more in my opinion

I've just watched the two uncut eps and I'm honestly loving this show?? I love the often cheesy, occasionally…
yeah i agree this is super interesting so far! all the characters are really interesting and i love all the interactions between phat and phob. the humor also really stands out and makes me chuckle here and there
I heard this is a sad ending..can someone confirm, please? I want to prepare myself if so. I'm already hooked…
yeah im pretty sure its going to be a sad ending because phob can either remain in the ghost world or finish his unfinished business and pass on. i really hope that doesn't happen and somehow phat and phob end up happy together :(
This episode is actually better in the cut version. There are four cut scenes, which I've described in the discussion…
was thinking about the uncut version and whether it is worth subscribing to see it.. thanks for letting me know! what about the other episodes? were there some good scenes cut from them?
i saw a lot of people excited for this show a year ago, desperately waiting for its release so i decided to check it out. But genuinely speaking, what's the point of watching this show? Akk is literally already in love with Theo and i think they try to set up this harem thing but I mean we all know who Theo will end up with. It just seems too basic and boring to watch 4 guys fight over Theo while he ends up choosing 'the best friend who was there with him all along'. Also book and force look soo much like siblings that its throwing me off. Hmmm hopefully maybe they'll introduce more interesting things in the later episodes
there are two parts to this show which p'nuchy wants to show. the social and political commentary on thailand and an interesting and dramatic story. From episode 1 we saw things from white's perspective which involved a lot of learning about political issues. the ethical discussions honestly soon start to become very repetitive and it felt like the human rights lectures were being shoved up to us every 2 mins. But why ep 7 is so iconic and monumental is because its able to mix the dramatic tension of the story and actually bring some progression to character interactions with a social and political discussion which touched a lot of people's hearts.
episode 7 was truly stunning. the way it carried and discussed the social issues from legalizing same sex marriage to equal rights to LGBTQ+ people. the scene with seanwhite under the flag i felt spoke so much rather than just an intimate scene. it was heartwarming and touching and i got all the chills from it. danyok finally got so much more screentime and the tension they have is absolutely gravitating. im so excited to see what's in store for all the characters
This show honestly gives me such big ITSAY vibes. The pacing and editing is perfect. The little sunset themed color coding makes everything seem so much more natural and soft. The music hits so right and the acting is absolutely on point. The characters don’t exaggerate their emotions and actions and they react to each other in such natural ways. They also do a lot of subtle things that are so charming to watch. Also, the humor is imbedded in such a subtle way, there’s no ‘funny’ noise or laugh track played in the background to let me know that I need to laugh.
If you are considering watching this, please don't be swayed by the low (not sure if a 7.7 is classified as low but for me it kinda is) ratings! I would definitely give this show a 9, maybe even a 9.5
the story so far is really good! i think its paced quite well and we get a fair amount of screen time for each couple. every relationship so far is super cute and im excited to see where this goes!

what do you mean about the age gap? predatory behaviour? power dynamics? what even? can you please explain what parts of the show you felt was showing any of these themes because im genuinely curious. the two main characters are literally both working adults so i dont understand why you think there is a huge age gap as well
