Also half truths! How come nothing was mentioned about the fact Chun Seong didn’t in fact set the fire? Or that Beom U didn’t play any part in the actual stealing the recipes? Those are just a couple of examples. Generous 7.
Who was busy? The producers? The actors? Someone had to be with all these loose ends and half concluded plots. From the restaurant in Japan, to the fall out with the French judge, to the bs reconciliation with the fa brother, and somehow nobody gets their just deserves. Not even going to talk about this “mother”. My 7 is GENEROUS.
9/10! Yes there are a few plot holes but nothing that I think takes away from it. It was super cute and I liked their chemistry. And the second couple delivers as well. I only wish we could have seen her dressed fabulously more lol but that’s a personal preference, she’s just so gorg. Man does Do Min Ik know how to pout! He can really put on the sad eyes. Great casting.
Scratch that, she IS moving foul. There is no “kinda” about it. I can’t believe she just kissed him, smh. I mean it’s only ep 8 so I suppose there’s room for redemption as far as a show is concerned. In real life? Yeah, I don’t think I’d be able to look past her actions.
I’m 20 minutes into episode one. Someone please tell me Park Min Hwan gets what he truly deserves and then some, like irreparable suffering and worse. I swear if I get to the end of this and he is only generically doing terrible I’m going to be pissed.
Justice for Suho! and Beom Seok needs his ass kicked!!! I said what I said, don’t try to convince me otherwise. It would hurt more coming from someone he cared about, not his dad. Maybe not a beating since he’s kinda desensitized but he can lose a finger or six. May he never make another friend again.
MAN WHAT! I was just coming to comment something because ooooooooooh she is working my nerves. I’m on episode…
I didnt make it past episode two when I left this comment lol I had to move on for my sanity, I knew there was better out there. Maybe one day I’ll go back to it 😂
This is for the real lovers, the real kissers, the real.. ok I’ll stop there lol I liked this series, I think 8 episodes was perfect and everything fell into place decently. Chef Oab is damn fine and very passionate. At first I thought Plawan was too annoying but it all worked out. I give it an 8.
it was fine, I’ll give it a 7. Originally I was thinking 7.5 but the last two eps… I found myself looking away from the screen a lot during this series and never really missed much. Some of the plot points made it feel like watching two or three shows in one without any of them being fleshed out. Anyway, the show was fine.
I wanted to enjoy this so bad, it’s right up my alley. I’m unsure if it’s like this on other viewing platforms…
I thought “oh, they are just explaining who’s who and what their role is”, but as that ep 1 (because there are two episodes labeled episode one) progressed I soon realized I was WRONG. It’s truly just the spark notes/cliff notes/summary/complete give away of everything you’re about to watch. Why?? I said “skip it, skip it, skip it” but I kept watching. I have just finished episode two and am deeply unsatisfied, seeing as how I can tell you the rest of the story already.
I implore any viewer to skip that synopsis episode and watch the rest. I believe it would be a very enjoyable show, truly, I simply just don’t understand the inclusion of a summary episode and thus I hate to say, but the show is ruined for me.
I wanted to enjoy this so bad, it’s right up my alley. I’m unsure if it’s like this on other viewing platforms as im watching on Viki, but the second “episode 1” is an entire synopsis of exactly what you’re about to watch. Holy spoilers! Why would a show give everything away in this manner?? It’s an hour plus of nothing but a briefing of pretty much everything to come. There is zero left to the imagination. I truly don’t understand. I’m still watching in hopes that something else happens that they didn’t give away but there isn’t anything thus far. They truly told it all in that explanation.
I need season two now :)
