With police like these guys who needs enemies? The cops were incompetent, Do Eun Hye needs to be locked up too for a few reasons but my reason? because she’s stupid, and put the culprit under the jail for being dumb too.. out here causing their own problems.

I’ll rate 8 because it doesn’t quite fit with my other 7.5s.

A few tweaks and roughly 5-7 minutes added to each episode (plot expansion) and this is gold.

Omg yes! When I watched this I kept thinking “how do I know him??” and then it clicked that it was WHC! His range with these two roles alone is insane, can’t wait to see more of him.

My thoughts exactly. Leaving to see her mom became a useless side quest in my opinion because we didn’t see any of it, so why include it? I was underwhelmed by the wrap up of the aunt and uncle, too. They didn’t get nearly enough blame for what they contributed to her childhood trauma. You hated a child because *gasp* a daughter looks like her mother! Really?? Come on.

8 for the show for these reasons, an extra .5 for Hiro.

You mean to tell me after *multiple* instances of attempted murder, embezzlement, fraud, forging of documents, several druggings, assaults, the list goes on (all with tangible proof)… Not a single soul is in jail or got they a** beat?? (A singular slap does NOT suffice.)

I can accept decent bad tv, but I can’t accept zero consequences. None of this “it’s implied” nonsense either. Nope, I need to see the handcuffs and/or I need to see the bruises.

I was enjoying it for what it was, but I said if this one thing doesn’t happen by the end of it then I can’t rate it any higher than a 6 (I actually said 5 because it was already a 7.5 to begin with but decided for a happy medium). So I guess 6 it is.

I loved it! It hit all the major food groups and left very little on the plate to be desired. So glad I decided to watch. It’s rare that you like every single character, but I really do.

Is it silly? Yes. Does it make sense? Hardly. Do the last few eps become more nonsensical? Absolutely! But I knew what I was signing up for after episode one and I really liked it. It’s not a fave but it certainly is not a 7 point anything. Genuinely laughed during this, I think the actors did well and I loved their chemistry in their foolishness. (Still wished I could have watched this in Korean, neither here nor there though.) Super easy watch and worth it.

Unrealistic reconciliation strikes again! If I say what grandma deserves my comment might get reported. Honestly, I think plot points like this (blaming a child for an obviously not their fault tragedy, mistreating them forever, etc) really hinder a drama. It’s nonsensical in a non fun way. Like, come up with a better reason she doesn’t like the kid.

Anyway, I still liked it enough all in all.

Time is money and I need to be compensated.

Grappled with my rating, but ultimately was gagged too many times in this series and had to go 9. It’s tentative, but we’re not doing (extensive) decimals around here and 8.5 doesn’t feel right.

Tbh I’m not a huge fan of repetitive pairing (if anyone comments please spare me. I know people love a fixed pair and ‘ships), I have a couple faves that I’d love to see together again - and these two make the list.

Lots to say and nothing at all to say about this one. What I will say is that the visible mic in episode 9 about 20 minutes in was the icing on the cake. But hey, another Friday spent mildly entertained so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t understand Ha Ram supporters at all. Eliminate him from the show and nothing changes.

Nothing aggravates me more than a character not facing any repercussions for their actions in the end. Cir’s mother deserves jail, misery, loneliness, and once she gets out of jail - more jail.

Yeahhhh, there was too much plot for this condensed version. Perhaps I’d feel differently if I didn’t know and like the Thai version already. **So watch without bias first, you might feel otherwise!**
I’ll say what I liked since everyone has expressed their dislikes already so much.

I liked the lil radio weather announcement lady bit throughout the show, it was on theme and in the background. Nice touch.
In the finale, the acting by Fuma and Kai was very well executed. When Kai told him about his past and Fuma started crying, had snot and allllll with those tears, 10/10!! Sad scene, great acting.
Sex scenes were fine, kisses were good (Rei please kiss that man back though).
The earring rip was soooooooooooo satisfying omg. Prayers were answered in that scene.
I think Arashi was well casted (I didn’t hate the rest of the casting though necessarily).
Run time - this is a blessing and curse. Short for development, but I was able to knock it out on a casual Saturday.

Anyway, didn’t love it - didn’t hate it. Don’t regret it, wouldn’t watch again. Solid 7.

Oof, should have skipped this one. Very much “yes girl, give us nothing”. I didn’t even realize the finale was the finale until the credits rolled. I’m very confused on the MA/18+ rating too? I’m not disappointed or anything, just wondering why, who, where this rating came from.
Mr teacher sir deserves jail for obvious reasons, DoHa please stand up but also you’re sneaky and I see what you did there, Hyeon - I’ve got nothing for you, much like you didn’t the entire show. May everyone involved find success in better projects in the future.

Even AFTER U Hyeon confessed to him at that cafe and he rejected him, when U Hyeon got in the fight he still said something along the lines of messing up his “handsome face”. UM???? Get this guy outta here! Police! Police! lol Idk, as the adult in this situation I just don’t feel like he handled that well at all and highkey lead his student on.
