YES. The second swap tested my patience. It went beyond naivite and straight into self destruction- you clearly want to die and disregard either of your lives.

I don’t really ffw on shows, but I also don’t know mandarin so looking away to play a game on my phone will suffice hahah

God forbid you let the other person finish their sentence first so there’s no misunderstanding.. Anyway, gave it. 7.5 because I did finish it and it was fine. Seriously contemplated 7 or lower because Xi Wei - girl STAND UP. The desperation was sickening at a certain point like??? They’re MARRIED and he don’t want you. At least Zi Xin knew the marriage was “fake”, I could kinda understand his continual pursuit (but I still wanted him to get a Blue’s Clue and stop already). Xi Wei though was just out here acting a fool and ruining long time friendships. Like.. are you not embarrassed??

I won’t harp on it too much because it’s been mentioned so much, but ugh I hate how daddy dearest didn’t really have any repercussions!

Anyway, they had great chemistry and the acting was on point! Act’s singing is mesmerizing, man can SaenKaew/Peak cry, and I stand by my previous comment that Sasin/Pearl reminds me of a young Patrick Swayze!! I seriously couldn’t stop thinking about it, I have a Dirty Dancing poster in my room and couldn’t stop comparing. Something about the looks and some mannerisms.

All in all I give it like an 8.7.

Also, I’m all for some GL in the BL but it felt unnecessary this time around. A few things were unnecessary if we’re being honest lol it probs deserves less than an 8 but the acting in certain scenes, the yearning, the funny moments gave it that extra umph for me to score it that way.

Idk, I kinda loved it even if it’s a bit nonsensical 😂 I mean, I don’t think I can go higher than a solid 6, but I don’t regret watching! It’s only an hour, no time lost.

I initially dropped this half way through when it first finished airing. I have to admit, the Twitter edits got me hahaha so I came back and just finished it. All in all I give it an 8!
From what I remember I definitely liked the second half better than the first and felt they tied up most loose ends.

I legit just finished this and had to come to the comments for this reason exactly. Omg I feel like they’re playing in our face lol what do you mean “Wondering how he got here? Doesn’t matter!” WHAT. Is the man immortal, did he time travel, does he reincarnate?? I need answers. No explanation of why she was in the hospital or anything either.
Man I was enjoying this so much too, I’ll still rate it an 8.5 and treat the last episode like I did the last season of Game of Thrones.

At first the body swap was funny and entertaining, now I’m struggling to even watch this show because of how my view of her has changed. Why did they have to make her SO f’n stupid, it got annoying real quick. How hard is it to just play along a little bit so you don’t DIE. I know she’s naive but that doesn’t mean she has to be dumb!
I’m sure as I keep watching I’ll change my mind but ughhh, please let her gain some sense.

Timelines are a bit confusing, how did she graduate so quick? But that’s not really what bothers me. She gained this education and sure she has part in the girl’s school at the end.. but she got zero recognition for doing what some men can’t at the Above Clouds. Is this really a groundbreaking turn of events if it’s not even realized? It’s still a secret to the public that she attended and succeeded except to those in the know. Are we really going to pretend that her brother was able to resume his identity and not be questioned? ARE WE OK WITH HIM ACHIEVING BASED ON HER ACCOMPLISHMENT? Granted I know it couldn’t be shouted from the rooftops because of the whole execution thing, but idk I still wasn’t quite satisfied. Still rated it an 8 in the end.

I’ll start by saying I liked it.

Now… holy speed racer at the end?? Did they run out of time or something? lol We spent THREE whole episodes on the archery competition yet wrapped up 3.5 plot points in TWO episodes at the end 😭😭😭Idk if I’ve ever seen a more rushed ending on major plot points before.

Anyway, rated an 8. While I liked FCJ, LZX had my heart. Sadly had second male lead syndrome bad for this show. I’ll put in a spoiler tag below why I almost rated a 7.5.

Omg I said the same thing! I was so pleasantly surprised. Also the music they were able to include (in the background of the coffee shop) gave me so much nostalgia. Such a gem

The wigs were wigging, the aesthetics were aesthetic-ing, the fantasy was fantasy-ing, and I was livingggggg. Wanted to rate part one 9.5 but couldn’t for how much pining we were doing for Jing.

Jing gave little brother (seriously, I never shipped them once. I don’t get it at all), CangXuan gave big brother, Xiang Liu gave LOVER! There is simply no other choice.

Anyway, can’t wait to see what part two has in store. Unfortunately spoiled a few things for myself in below comments due to lack of spoiler tags but oh well, I’m here for the ride.
