I really like the fighting scenes, CGI and cinematography in this drama. I think it’s well done and beautiful. The costumes are also beautiful and the music is good and on point

I absolutely love the leads, I’m always looking forward to their scenes together ahah both beautiful, the chemistry is fire and I like their characters. This drama also has some romance tropes that I really like and yeah can’t wait for more eps and to know more. We probably have some other plot twist coming up

When she said « the family picture » and mentioning a futur sister in law, it’s pretty obvious. I think I’m paying less attention sometimes when it’s not a scene between the leads

I know that ML is adopted, we knew that from the beginning and I never said otherwise. And I also know she’s the step sister if she’s the girl in the picture (I haven’t finished the ep yet when I wrote the first part of the comments, but it’s confirm now with the discussion with the doctor). But yeah like you said she probably only seen him as an older brother, but I just said that because from some moments (before ep 7) and a scene in the trailer when she wraps her arms around his, it’s looked like to me as she could like him. Maybe because they always had some love triangles so I’m looking for it, I’m seeing things that aren’t there ahah I also agree that the trauma is probably related to the father’s death

I feel like the assistant likes ML 🤔(edit : from the first few eps I was thinking this, but I was so wrong ahah) and the assistant have memorie lost.she’s the girl in the picture and the person they were talking about and the one FL’s family wants to find (don’t remember the name) and I didn’t expect that SML (FL’s friend) approach her with motives back then for revenge. already a few plot twist out that we know. damn end of ep 7, can’t wait a day ahah I wish we had previews for the next ep and that the eps weren’t this short for only 1 ep per day

I can’t wait to see his reaction to « her death », man will go crazy. I hope after this when he finds her alive, they will be together.

just binge watched eps 18 to 22 and I can’t wait for eps 23-24, after watching the previews, these eps looks really good

Wondering why it’s one ep behind on Wetv 🤔 there is 6 eps on Wetv but seems like 7 eps are out, a bit annoying. Maybe it out on Tencent first and then the next day on Wetv with sub🤷‍♀️

Yeah grandma and her uncle’s family are the worst, but I have a feeling that the dad is actually acting like a drunk. actually he wants revenge and he will be on ML’s side.

I’ve watched 6 eps. For now not really anything except we can see that he probably likes her and it’s a friendship relationship. But for me she obviously only see him as a friend and will never like him. This seems like unrequited/one sided love to me. There is one scene in a trailer I saw, like wtf. SML said something like this to ML : that he already has everything, can he let him have Bu Ran. Of course ML says no, but asking this is so weird

ep 3-4 : damn I didn’t expect that this was the story with the professor.

preview for ep 18… Mo Fang just go away🤦‍♀️ my hate for love triangle (and SL with unrequited love) is showing up again ahah, such an annoying trope to me. She already rejected him, can’t we get over this ;) Just like the story between the 3 in the mortal world, I can’t enjoy. I feel bad for both girl.
I loved the scenes between the leads in eps 16-17 :) From the previews of eps 18-19, I think I will skip tomorrow and wait for eps 20-21 before continuing.

well damn. when I thought we were getting some development for our second lead couple, bro left. I hope he is not gone for too many eps. I think I remember a comment saying that he will have regret toward BXS (from things the actors said I think), maybe related to him living, I don't know. But, when he comes back, I need him chasing her ahah my poor girl :( the second lead always suffering when the go with the annoying unrequited love for the lead trope

On another note, I love the development with our main couple, that kiss was fire

for a sec I was actually shipping the maid and Furong, it was feeling enemies to lovers ahahah. but yeah hope he leaves soon even if he creates some funny moments

I'm catching up tonight. Personally for me, I would have like it better without the plot of the SML/friend having one sided/unrequited love. I always find this plot annoying. What's the point when we know she doesn't like him, never will and they won't end up together. Why can't they just be friends ? mmmh always the need to add some kind of love triangle. I'm here for the romance between the leads. Yes useful to create some jealous moments for ML, but other than that unnecessary for me. That gives me some scenes to fast-forward. At least he's not the crazy type of guy who forces the girl, I give him that and it's not roo much. I hope for the new eps they move forward with his story with SFL and stop his one side love. I really ship SML and SFL, she already like him, I hope they end up together.

Anyway, after like ep 6, I enjoy more and more this drama and I don't understand everyone complaining about FL's actress. I also liked the actress with the original face and I wasn't sure at first after the face swap, but I've moved on and I think they have good chemistry and look good together(with the main actress)Also her acting doesn’t seems bad to me

What’s with age gap again? Even the girl he is seeing is a a woman/an adult. And I’m intrigued with the mom’s friend. if she’s ml’s biological mom, how did he get adopted by his mom ? Who doesn’t even seems to know about the friend?

Currently watching the first ep and that was so weird the mom getting her daughter to sing in the night club and selfish, using her to get money. At least the clients had common sense and they all thought it was inappropriate/weird. It always the trashy parents in these kind of drama. Wondering what is their age difference 🤔like 5 years max ? seeing them next to each other, it doesn’t seem that much and they both look like kids. (him too, he actually looks like a teenager for me). Not like in hidden love in my opinion, she looked like 10-12 and him like a grown man, so it was kinda weirder to watch. Even more weird/creepy in the other drama of this writer. Never watched, but I’ve seen clips, wasn’t he a grown ass man and her a child when they met ?

Anyway, never really watched a weekend or family drama. dropped « the real has come » after a few eps and followed a little on TikTok « Live your own life », but I will give this a try

Yeah ahah so many people. Everyone in this family is pretty stupid, all getting fooled. Also, without ML and his expertise/advise regarding work, mistakes would have been made over the years
