no they didn't officially. they argued, he said he wants to divorce and some other things. it ended pretty much in this direction even if she didn't want to. he left, she tried, but she couldn't chase after him, they wouldn't let her leave the hospital. he took her things out of his appartement, for her to live in the police station. He mostly talked about divorce because he received a threat for Qi Yan, he is afraid for her safety. She doesn't know that. From the previews for tomorrow eps, they seem to reconcile in ep 23

I also saw the BTS of that kissing before, it was even before the drama started airing. wondering if it's the director's choice to edit it like this or maybe censorship played a part 🤷‍♀️, I remember it's a pretty good kiss. who knows. I need to re-watch again the BTS😅😅 still looked pretty with the scenery and a beautiful scene, but feel like it could have been better maybe
