Actually, I’ve already seen Time Raiders (I kind of got bored with TJOL during the middle episodes, so I switched to TR and I really loved it!) I’m not sure if I will watch FoF though, it’s not my cup of tea and XZX isn’t even one of the leads, so 😭 Thanks for the recommendations though, I’m definitely keeping any eye on him.
I started TJOL because I wanted to watch a good wuxia drama, the first few episodes were entertaining enough, but really it got quite slow with unnecessary drama, I finished the drama purely with the drive of wanting to see more Liu Suifeng (I’m a sucker for pretty faces) lol. I wish they would have focused more on developing the side characters instead of dumbing them down (looking at Yiren especially) and maybe more about the power gang and their dynamics. The fight scenes are good, but not much depth underneath, CY is more interesting as Li Chenzhou than the main character. Anyway, at least I have to thank this drama for introducing me to Xu Zhenxuan!
Finally a fresh young actor who is gorgeous with a talent to match. Having seen him as Liu Suifeng, he’s almost unrecognizable as Wuxie and he’s surprisingly good at comedic facial expressions as well. He has a very nice face suitable for both big and small screen, good at fighting scenes, can act and he looks exceptionally good in historical hairstyle and outfits. Oh he is going to be so big.
