Personally I'm glad they decided to change the storyline cause the drama sounds much more interesting than the novel. Since you read the novel you know nothing overly exciting happens for the most part, I do hope they keep some of the CP moments of the leads near the later part of the novel but we'll have to wait and see

There definitely seems to be more lovey dovey moments in the early stages of the drama when they're still at Changyu's village compared to the novel
