ML in Blossom is not red in anyway, their intimacy comes after they're married and its more spice in the marriage bed. Whereas ML here is I think more "aggressive" and "forceful" as he's more possessive of FL. I wouldn't say walking red flag but definitely a dash of red lol

I actually agree..I could never tell the difference btw her ccharacter in princess gambit and powers of blossom cause her hair and costume looks exactly the same. I'm really loving the FL costumes in moonlite reunion, I kind of wish it'll be the same kind of esthetics

Now that you mention it, I do see the parallel. Similar life but different destiny..although it could be mainly because the main leads here are inherently good.

One of my all time favorite. Everything about this drama was top notch, from the cinematography, stunning visuals, great acting and of course the hottest CP! I'm still rewatching this after umpteenth time

Currently on ep 16, so far its not as bad as most people make it sound, its not a heavy overly exciting plot but a easy watch, although I do find the FL actress a bit underwhelming, she's just lacking charm to play the lead whose supposed to be bubbly and a bit spoiled from her upbringing, this is what the the ML faulted her for in the beginning so it would make sense if the FL emphasize more on that before he sees the better side of her. Whereas I find the ML being aloof and kinda emotionless makes sense since he is supposed to he upright boring scholar who only has a mission in mind.

In both time lines FL falls in love first but ML eventually returns her feelings, I guess her being the more assertive and expressive one might make it seem like its more one sided. There are parts where I thought ML has too much self control lol

Did you read the bonus chapters in the alternative timeline when FL didn't have to go through the political marriage? She was such a bubbly and naive princess, I like how the author made her personality pretty much consistent regardless of her past, she is still the sassy firecracker who is adorably possessive of the ML. 🤭
