Instead of assuming this and that, why don't you wait for the drama to be released before throwing shade solely on the age of the actors, like you said China has strict rules with censorship, if there was issues with the drama they certainly wouldn't approve licensing.

She was literally bullied her entire life with a spineless father who can't even stand up for her, so yeah its natural to develop survival instincts and be smart about your life when you're being treated like sh*t from people around you. FL is actually a strong and independent character who never played the role of damsel in distress unlike most of the Cdrama out there. The main leads relationship is one of the healthiest i've seen with no stupid misunderstanding and annoying third wheeler who creates tension. And yes I TRULY believe that the average Joe dealt with a crappy life, who if given a chance to go back in time to make it better, will NOT make any changes at all... 😒 and also what "mistakes" does FL have to own up to? Her husband cheating and trying to poison her?
