As much as I LOVE the infamous break-the-window foreplay kiss in ep33 🤭🔥🔥🔥, seeing the million bts videos at various angles of this kiss always throws me off at how intense and long they went at it. It just hits differently seeing the raw version. Haha 😭🤣

I highly recommend you give this a try, the drama is popular for a reason. The cinematography, acting, and chemistry of the leads is very well done, since you're not familiar with historical Cdrama you might find the political plot confusing later on, but doesn't hurt to get started and see what you think

Yeah its HE. The romance starts quite early, its obvious they like each other by ep 4 ish. You get their first kiss in ep 9

Ok so I've been seeing alot of posts about ZLH and TXW being the perfect cast for a live adaption of the popular anime The Apothecary Diaries, now I can't unsee it cause they definitely give off the visual and vibe of Mao mao and Jinshi! 😭I mean I doubt its gonna happen with the political tension between Japan and China, I don't see China wanting to adapt a Japanese anime into a drama, but has it ever been done in the past?

Those who are struggling to understand the palace conspiracy and connections between all the political figures, trust me, the novel was equally as confusing, I had to read it several times to really understand whats happening and what characters are aligned with which faction. I appreciate that the drama isn't too politically heavy.

I'm ready to rewatch the entire thing after it ends cause I won't be able to move on right away 😭😭
