💯

Finally, there’s movement! When the day break was a much better title.

The first 4 episodes…no porn! LOL!. If you’re not comfortable with sex toys being shown on television then you should not watch it. But it’s sweet and cute imo.

Agreed. “TV is rarely like this anymore “. His moody, cinematic approach with prolonged attention on a scene really makes you appreciate cinema and the organic approach to dialogues feels “normal”. Nowadays kdramas has been reduced to 8-12 episodes and it affects the landscape and richness of storytelling. Ahn Pan Seok will be missed.

My favourite ahjushi, Choi Dae Hoon, in a lead role…Yippeee!
Kyung Ho and Yeo Been…seems like an updated version of “jealousy incarnate” without the third wheel😾

People are comparing it to the OG Japanese version, that’s why.

“Where’s the chairman?”
Doctor X:”I PARK HIM” 😂😭🤣
Well-deserved!!! Boomer elitism jerk

This is Ahn PanSeok characteristics feature of directing dramas using that kind of colour grading with western music. If you miss “that old kdrama / Korean vibe” than you’ll not appreciate his kind of drama.

Hope you’ll give him a chance because under his direction he gave a really good human connection filled with real world dialogues. RIP, director.

It’s an imaginary kiss 😭 at the beginning of first episode

He is her TA. She seems to be obsessed with her image

More like love square

Enjoyed the first two episodes. It’s very Ahn Pan Seok’s vibe with the loud bgm and colour grading. This is “midnight romance in Hagwon” university version. I wonder if the FL’s dad will be the obstacle and the antagonist will be the professor or the “nut job” student . It’s always the parents or someone in higher positions that are antagonistic in most of the director’s dramas😭. Uncertain about the scriptwriter😬 but will trust the director. Since he said he chose the script, fingers crossed!
I can do without the 3 dimwits.

Ye Xin Zhi casually confirming “I’m your boyfriend” and Xu Chi saying I have all the courage was the best scene of episode 12. 😍😀😁

Getting ready my 🤧. It’s bittersweet knowing this was the director last work.

The cast listing Wu Li Peng as “Old Du” is freaking hilarious. Even dramawiki’s listed him as Lao Du老杜 and dramawiki is usually pretty accurate. Give this man a proper full name, omg!🤣. He is our biggest shipper of the CP.

Not only that irl, he is only 38 years old!!!!
#givehimaname #properfullname

Because is in Beijing and usually down payment/deposit for a home is 20-30%. So one million is kinda reasonable in a metropolitan city

He is well-known in the variety show circuit. He got popular due to the drama ‘fireworks in my heart’ because he got the “domineering ceo” look(according to cnetz)

It’s china 966 culture and most offices are like that. Gotta chase that KPI, lol.

Ikr! They are wearing appropriate corporate clothing and not over the top clubbing outfits that some modern dramas put their characters in lol

First episode was so fast paced. I’m dizzy with too many characters. Will rewatch it again. On the other hand, their outfits are absolutely fire!
