You should really read the novel. It’s from Xiao Yao’s POV, how she navigate her life. Even though the drama is almost the same as the novel, some of the important conversations were left out. I do like Jing drama version more than the novel.

I don’t think the drama stresses it but in the novel Jing did beg his grandmother for him to leave his position. But because he is the only legitimate heir to the vast businesses and one of the 4 most distinguished clan, he is not allowed. He also don’t want to be the TuShan clan leader but happy-go-lucky Ye Shiqi. It might be a little hard for him to move around but slowly but surely he is going towards her.Also lets not forget about the bish, fiancée 👿😤😡He will be at Wushen mountain and will be leaving with her, Yay!
