Agreed you understood the context. People here missed the mark saying the mom is annoying, no romance, blah, blah…this is airing on CCTV. Of course they have to tone down a lot and the actress He Sai Fei is a well known and respected. She is playing a mom from Anhui province speaking a dialect ( NO need to make fun of it).
