I'm torn.
I liked Park Se Young in both Whisper and A Beautiful Mind... But 50 eps is too much for me. Maybe i will give a try. After Empress Ki, i dont think i watched a drama with more than 20 eps. (I started a few ones, but god knows when i will finish)

PS: Both actors were in A Beautiful Mind, with Se Young's Character being the ex of Jang Hyuk's if i not mistaken...

For a drama with Rain, was bad. And dont forget: That drama had Luo Jin, Dilraba and Tiffany Tang too and has only a 7.5 of rating. With an All-Star Cast... (I dont know Thai actors much, but for the rating be so bad...).

For a first episode, was ok. I will wait for the other ones to be subbed. I cant understand either this rating of 5.4.

Its not new. You have some of your family in both sides, or even after the angst of the relationship between our three leads, they can use him and his position as a hidden card. We know that his two brothers are conspiring against Won. This is good because we have a good major plot point who can be explored. (and imagine when San discover that Rin's brother was the mastermind behind the attack and they are against Won? Where Rin's position in this? We will have to see)

(Two brothers because the bandit who does not partake in the ambush says that the "Master" is the second son of the minister, so Rin who is more young, is the third one and the one who act like a strategist is the elder one)

But, tvN and OCN are cable stations. They are, at least, outside the range of the major broadcasters.

Do you watched The Guardians/Lookout? The cliffhangers almost killed us because of that split LOL. I dont have a problem with recaps, as long as they are made in another point of view (the said Lookout was in some sorts in that way)

But you're right when you talked about the continuity of the episode. Some times we think with "WTF" in our faces when the second part does not follow the last scene of the first one.

Some licensed shows are made in that way. The most recent one is The King Loves.
When in the network, the episodes are splitted, in the Viki.com, they are together. (Part of this is because of the full license that Viki acquired)

My Sassy Girl is, too, in that way. In Dramafever, the episodes are one hour long. When in the network, they are divided in half.

But, not every show gets a full license. If your favorite show are not getting the full license, you only can receive the splitted version. Peace :)
