I feel it's not about the ending but... here it goes
It is okay to have sad endings but it have to make complete sense, killing off 2 main characters in just one episode??? and then keep on killing others and NYZ and RR are great strategists, so how did they even lose war against Beipan people, who just how to fight??? Now they have all resources and manpower, how could they not plan and just simple go to war?? even when NYZ first won against Beipan - there was strategy of face change. They completely spoiled LTG till the end.. like the marriage scene didn't even make any sense. and YL just dies in a running marathon?? ... The writer should rewatch Nirvana in Fire on how to end a drama with all loose threads tied properly. The last 6 eps was just dying-crying-dying-crying. They could have ended it way better

I think LTG kidnapped Ruyi, like when she was dying took her and swapped her with someone and trying to marry her maybe? Judging by the promos, NYZ is fighting LTG, so let's see what happens
