Just because Squid game took the internet storm, doesn't mean it did better 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ AIB had better games and intensity, in the drama where survival is the only option, they don't have much time for interpersonal relationships as they're on verge of death, and AIB having games which we couldn't play irl, shows how tough they put their thoughts for the games, they were really unpredictable so it kept me hooked till the end, but for squid games, half stuff I guessed, so didn't amaze me in any ways

The first 2 episodes were pretty good !! The cinematography is excellent and the music was great too. The pacing was a bit slow for 1st ep, but I understand it's for introducing all characters, the 2nd one was rightly paced. It gives me a lot of Goblin vibes, so many moments just felt like that. I hope the drama stays the same storytelling of the first 2 episodes.

and her makeup too is kinda not well-done

1. Editing felt out of place, like moving from one scene to another, some where felt disconnected.
2. FL makeup ??? Like her face is powdered a lot, it's visible how her neck is very different from face color
3. Are the actors dubbed ??.... the voice many times doesn't sync well for me, dubbing too is kinda not well-done
But plot-wise and acting it's good, some fight sequences were so good to watch, let's see how it goes :)

The first 2 eps were pretty decent and some parts were really enjoyable. There were some stuff which I didn't like

As she calls empress dowager as grandma and current emperor as cousin she should be the daughter of late emperor's sister or brother I assume, they'll tell soon I think

Why would Li Qian have the pass hanging so openly ??? He know he have to participate can't he just keep into a pouch and keep it safe, I know maybe it's to connect leads....but it still didn't right with me

Not all films I rate is based on predictability, I don't have issues if it's predictable to some extent too
Space sweepers enjoyed the whole movie and cast, it was a fun watch for me
Train to busan- The movie in itself was a good zombie movie and it was thrilling too as for me (my first Korean movie, maybe it was so amazing for me)
Parasite- no comments required
all others I rated same as Squid game and 2 below too
for thrillers except for Flower of evil, there's nothing on 9.5, rest all on radar 8.5-9

First of all it differs for people, In JoL, I couldn't predict the end, ther's no way someone knew hoe exactly it's gonna end. In NiF, I couldn't predict the fact of the princess son's father is actually the one in south. Yes, we'll predict everything, but it's about how it's gonna get revealed, that moment should be interesting. I have seen many other stuff which is Indian and not asian. For here squid game, I knew it was all for a sort of enjoyment, (ref: Hunger games, where there too they'll play, it's viewed as show to rich people), I guessed the masked man was his brother and the grandpa is more than some normal man , and also couple dying together. Only Sae Byeok dying, the way was something which surprised me a lot.
In The Untamed or Flower of Evil, my rating was on diff basis, I didn't rate that on predictability, i rated on how interesting it was kept me hooked till the end. I've seen many Indian movies& series which is unpredictable like Ittefaq, 13B, Kahaani.
It's not about predicting exactly it's about on how it's shown or revealed. In Beyond evil (i guessed the dad) but it's was how well they presented him getting confronted. And all have views and opinions different, I watched it with my friend who also watched AIb, we both felt same views
I never told AIB characters are realistic, I told I could connect more to characters and story, I didn't guess the final game, the victim killer herself, neither the whole concept of hotel
We'll have our own opinions, by listing out my list and explaining that won't change my opinion neither mine is gonna change yours. It's based on our expectations and experience. I still told this is a very good drama in itself, but is this the Best Kdrama out there ?? for me No, is this best survival drama out there?? No (I've mentioned in my opinion there)

The point about the Squid game being different was the fact in all survival games, you have no other option to play the game so you can live, the sole motive is living. But here, they know they'll die if they come but still, they chose to come back and play the game, so the motive is here is "Money", and how it plays such an important role in people's lives, and how humans could go to any extent for greed or actually getting the money.
But the drama is called "Best Kdrama" or the "Best Survival Drama", in my opinion, I won't agree, it's a good drama for sure, really enjoyable but not the best. I knew at ep 5 who's gonna survive till the end, and who'll win so it's not unpredictable. For me AIB, was much better both with games and connecting with characters , as there you never know what'll happen next, the story takes a 180 turn every episode. but still am also happy for the popularity as the actors put forth a great job and Kdramas getting wider recognition
