Well the dinner scene was fun. So the wife was verbally abusive after a while it seems in that she was constantly putting him down for not contributing. Which i think anyone would get fed after a while if youre carrying the household expenses while your partner hasn't made progress with their career.

But its also clear the friend group is aware of their relationship strain so i wonder if he bad mouthed her to the whole friend group? and then everyone knows he has an unspoken (but actually spoken) relationship with the girl friend and they even have a dog together. Like the FL said theyre all accomplices.

In any case if it was bad enough either side could leave in my opinion but that act was crazy lol. The wife held her own though.
