Okay so, I was rewatching the previous episodes of Bad Buddy and it made me understand Wai’s perspective better. In Wai’s eyes it was Pat that was bullying/ meddling with Pran all the time since Pran also acted aversely to Pat in Wai’s presence(for instance part 4 ep5). So the hatred he had towards Pat was not only his own but mostly for Pran’s sake. If you actually put yourself in his shoes then it does make sense. You’ll feel betrayed. It’s not only about whether or not Pran talked about his relationship with Wai ( they’re best friends, he atleast deserves that) but because Wai made a fool of himself for Pran’s sake. Not to mention that Wai did feel something was off and asked about it directly from Pran multiple times. Still, he shouldn’t have done what he did with the curtains but we know Wai is shown to have a bad temper, so it does fit with his character. Plus about him being manipulative, asking Pran to do his work etc is also shown as something that commonly happens between friends ,if Pran did hate him for who Wai was he wouldn’t have been so worried about him finding out/ of losing him in the first place.
As for the ‘outing’, it’s regarded as something inconsequential in BBS universe. It was never a probem to begin with, apparently since homophobia doesn’t exist there ig

Ok so I read it in the comment section. It’s supposed to be a local tradition that the groom to be spends a night with a widow (to check if he’s fit ig lol) before the marriage. So they were prob peeking at that

Oh my, wasn’t expecting the honorable mention 🥺 I’ve been the same, just an observer but this comment section seemed so fun that I wanted to be apart of it. Ah okay. I liked Kino and Scheherazade better than Drive My Car so it looks like I’m in for a treat. I am yet to watch Burning, you have to be in a certain mood to enjoy Murakami and I guess the same goes for these adaptations. Also, have you seen Norwegian Wood?
