in 1 % of something the ML keeps mentioning during the latter half of the drama that he become a good person because of her.. even his grandfather said he purposely put FL in the will because he needed the FL to convert ML from a jerk to a more responsible man... It implied as though the ML would never become better without FL..
Nicely written article. My observation - Male leads are shown as jerks and they only become humane after meeting the female leads.. This makes the male leads appear less of an adult and more of a man-child who needs FL to tame them.. Eg 1 percent of something Male leads act mean to FL for first 4-5 episodes and the remainder of the episodes the FL acts hard to get. ML acts apologetic till the end even if he starts as a jerk/mean during the start of the drama. Eg Master's Sun

Yeah... Though people hate mean characters they still watch them... That's why dramaland is full of mean male leads.. though I think here Arthit was mean for a reason and to some extent because of jealousy... He was mostly playfully bully..
