Why do I feel like HY only half - accepted QT ? if he really saw her as FG’s life partner, he should’ve given the hairpin to QT, not FTY. IMO.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I’m considering of watching Lady Liberty, a modern romance drama starring Mark Chao and Tiffany Tang, since S&B didn’t deliver that for me. The show started airing yesterday on WeTV.

Yeah, honestly, this series is giving MLC vibes now. FG turning into LLH, sacrificing himself to save everyone… the ultimate selflessness.

They totally tricked us with that epic scene in ep 12 😭 I mean, someone who “just loves everyone” wouldn’t go to that extreme! That line — “The beautiful mountains, the clear waters, the green meadows — I will definitely go there with you.” — when he looked at her and mustered his strength to get up before getting stabbed in the back by QJT… it clearly screamed his feelings for QT. The potential was HUGE, if only they give the lead a proper buildup. But all those unnecessary arcs totally ruined it. It’s like they truly have no idea what they’re doing with this Wangquan arc. Sadly. I’ve already put my hopes for their romance at rock bottom.

I would love to see that too. Hongye is way better than QJT or that Fox King. Honestly, I’m just hoping their heart-to-heart conversation ends up being satisfying… they deserve that much at least!

I couldn’t agree more. At first, I really thought they were so sweet together. But after watching the ep 30 preview, their interactions just feel.. awkward. Up until ep 29, they didn’t look promising as a couple. I really tried to believe in them, but now their vibe is just… off. Honestly, since they’ve already changed so much from the original story, I think at this point, FG deserves someone better.

I just hope HY doesn’t get killed by QJT. If he does, maybe that’s one of the reasons FG turns evil—with the blonde hair and all?
