I don't want to sound racist or anything, but why is it that Korean women in their forties and fifties all look the same or similar? Han Ji min, Hwang Jung Eum, Go Hyun Jung, Seo Hyun Jin all have similarities between them. Don't tell me anything because that would be lying.
I watched every trailer that came out and honestly none of them really got me excited. Honestly, I like Hyunwook a lot, but I don't see any real chemistry between him and Ga Young. I'm mostly feeling the kdrama, I'm circling you, you don't want me, then boom at the 6-7th episode, I develop a crush on you and we start the romance.
Okay I know he's young and has potential and all, but he really needs to work on his acting. I was surprised to…
I couldn't agree with you more. I first saw him in "Hierarchy" and even then I didn't think he was any good. Like you, I'm very surprised that he's taking on so many leading roles. Recently I saw him in "Lady Ok" and as you said, he was clearly below the others and it's the same for Yeonwoo who was also in the kdrama, both were really not terrible. Any trained person who knows something about the world of cinema and who has 2-3 years' knowledge can play their part. Honestly, I don't think that's the first thing scriptwriters look at before taking on an actor in Korea, because there are so many people who can't act honestly and are easily replaceable.
I haven't seen Queen Suzy on screen in almost 2 years (I'm not counting Wonderland) and I'm going to kick your ass if the kdrama isn't released in 2025 and this summer.
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of this kdrama, but I can't wait to see the sequel, it's such a long wait every Thursday. I can't wait to see my queen Shin Su Hyun.
Huge surprise frankly, I wasn't expecting to like this kdrama but I was pleasantly surprised. Of course it's not something you'd expect to see a lot of, but it's still cool and you have a good time. Ryeoun impressed me again, you have to say he's wonderful as an actor, I loved him in "Twinkling Watermelon" and I love him here, I can't wait to see him again in WHC2. That's not all, Chris's character is clearly my favorite here, I loved this story that I found so touching and the actor is cool. Good kdrama with beautiful OST. I rate it 8/10 here.
Honestly, what I don't like about this kind of long kdrama that lasts 4-5 months is that afterwards you feel like crap and feel like you've done nothing for 4 months.
Last episode of this long journey. I've been here since the 1st day ( September 28) it's the first time I've watched a kdrama this long and honestly I'd started for the casting. Then I discovered a magnificent and very good actor by the name of “Kim Jung Hyun” who blew me away from start to finish, he's clearly my favorite here. The kdrama had many highs and lows, describing the story of a poor family who did everything to save the sight of the youngest daughter (Lee Darim). What you can blame this kdrama for is that there were a lot of unnecessary scenes and that for many are me, finds that 16 episodes would have been enough for this story.
Rather, I had announced that for me the ending would be a 5-10 year time jump where we'd see the grandparents and Bong Hee in prison. I was half wrong in the sense that I find that just limits the 1 years in prison.
Then I'd also announced that the grandparents would die in prison, and here too I was wrong, but I was right in the fact that DaRim and Gangju would end up together and that TaeWoong and Cha Rim would get married. Basically a happy ending.
This long journey is now over, thank you Iron Family and especially thank you “Kim Jung Hyun” I'm going to miss you so much.
I just finished the 35th episode and what can I say... I'm going to miss it so much. The grandparents and Bong Hee all got 1 year in jail and Gangju's mom got her money back. Then that ending, it literally broke my heart in two. Gangju didn't have an ounce of happiness from the beginning to the end, I felt so bad for him, I hope he gets his happiness in this last episode.
Anyway, I'm starting this last episode of this long kdrama!!!!
I fucking hate it, it's impossible to find it on streaming like 90% of the new films released in Korea. You always have to wait 2-3 months. I'm not going to get on a plane just for a movie.
I usually skip the kdrama intro except when we have this kind of intro a bit “Queen Of Tears” “Our Beloved Summer” I love this kind of intro and Paul Blanco's OST “Test me” is just amazing, I listen to it over and over.
I really, really messed up. I even thought that the OST we heard when the ML saves the FL in space wasn't sung by Seungkwan but by Jin. Why is that? It's simple, I listened to Jin's ost and I swear they have the same melody and in both OSTs you hear “My Universe”.
Don't tell me anything because that would be lying.

Just beautiful.
