Ah Tae Joon, no, he's clearly not the worst here, even if I think his performance here is really below KJH's. After all, it's been 3-4 years since he's shot a drama as a lead actor. He only appears as a guest before "Iron Family".
I agree with you, I really like Geum Sae Rok she's so cute especially with that kind of haircut it suits her perfectly but yes her acting isn't great I've only seen her in another drama "Youth Of May" and it was the same, she's not a great actress. In fact here, in this drama there aren't really any good actors apart from KJH.
I really like the actress who plays Da Rim's sister, Chae Rim, but in all the dramas I've seen, she's not a very good actress either.

I can't even imagine this kdrama without Kim Jung Hyun, he's literally the best and the one that makes me stay here, the others are so fucking bad. The MuRim son, reassure me this is his first kdrama? He gives off nothing, he's got 0 expressions apart from the constant squinting.
It makes you wonder how KJH accepted this role.
But this drama you take away but it's a total flop.

We're 10 episodes from the end and the kdrama is becoming more and more of a huge sketch. The son who manages to find the money in less than 10 seconds. Then this money story that's been going on since episode 7-8. In reality, that's just the main plot of the kdrama. There's really no romance. It's more of a Family, Mystery, Betrayal genre than a romance kdrama.
It's getting more and more boring.

I hope my Queen Kwon Eun Bin doesn't have a villain role.

We agree it's a pre-produced kdrama? If not, it's impossible that Kim Ji Eun managed to shoot both LND and this kdrama in less than 1 year. What's more, LND finished shooting in August, whereas Check in Hayang began in May 2024. What's more, they just finished shooting in November, so post-production is only 1 month long? I don't understand the notion of a pre-produced kdrama, can someone please explain?

First episode seen, what can I say? Not a big fan of the plot, I haven't quite figured it out yet. Is it some kind of cooking history kdrama or am I completely wrong?

Call me crazy, but why does kdrama sound so old? When I say old, I mean 2-3 years old. I'm pretty surprised it was shot in 2024.

I didn't like the beginning but the rest of the episodes and the end were wonderful. I never thought I'd have so much emotion in a kdrama: Horror, Thriller.
Kim Seol Hyun's acting was just wonderful here. Everyone was really amazing but literally my favorite was Seon Hae (Kim Min ha). I'll remember his wonderful line:

"I want to stay in a world where we can both live together" Seon Hae broke her light bulb to stay forever with the one she loves, Hyewon.

Then the crazy post credits!!! OMO GOO YOOUN JUUUNG..... I hope this heralds a season 2.

Honestly, I don't think we're in for any surprises, the kdrama seems pretty predictable. She'll probably end up with Seung Hwi and the magistrate's son will die, maybe saving them both. I doubt the drama will end in anything other than a happy ending.

Episode 4 over, the kdrama is just crazy. It's incredible, out of respect I won't be watching the leaks of episodes 5 and 6. It's a lot of work and you have to respect that. Chu Young Woo is just incredible in both roles, honestly I don't know if I prefer when he plays the storyteller or the magistrate's son.

Am I crazy or is episode 5 already available on onetouchtv? Was there a leak or something? How is this possible? That would mean that someone on the team leaked the episodes.

I'm like crazy, the kdrama is just fucking incredible. Episode 6 was terribly good. The chemistry between ML and FL is just perfect. The kdrama sounds so 16 episode though.
