I just saw the new teaser and I really have a problem here. The kdrama is too smooth, I feel like I'm watching it in 4K because it's so fluid. TVN overuses the filters too much. It's not just that too, I'm so afraid it's going to turn into something cringeworthy...
How's Han Ji Eun's acting? I've never seen a kdrama with her. I've just started "When The Stars gossip" where she's in it but I can't evaluate it since the kdrama is so much nonsense but I really don't think she's that great. The rest I know a little about are rookie actors, not the best, but still young. There's only Hwang Min Hyun who's more experienced and who I really don't think is a great actor, I've never found his acting interesting in any kdrama I've seen of his.
A romance would flop such a show like this honestly.
What the hell are you talking about? I'm just responding to the comments above that say "A romance would fail here" or did I talk about wanting to change everything here? I just said that in another more romantic/scholastic plot and by changing the ML and FL by younger actors or of the same age it would pass as a romance drama. A kind of School if you like.
A romance would flop such a show like this honestly.
Yes in terms of the kdrama's plot, but if you put the cast in a school kdrama/romance and change the ml and FL to two gen Z actors, the kdrama becomes a romance straight away. Chaa Woo Min can be a couple with Shin Su hyun.
Episode 14 over: it's amazing how this kdrama can go from laughter to tears in a matter of seconds. I really hope we get our happy ending here. I'm afraid of the ending, from beginning to end I was impressed by the actor Choo Young Woo, the first kdrama I've watched of his, he's just incredible. I really fell in love with him, he's perfect.
Heo NamJun as HanJae Pil, first love of Kim Da Mi's character ( YeongRye)
He's the son of a department store president born with a silver spoon in his mouth. His classmates call him "The Prince on a White Horse" despite his rich appearance.
The kdrama is currently being filmed. Shooting began in January and is due to finish in July. This means we'll probably be able to broadcast it in October or November. I hope we'll get to see some photos from the shoot.
This week it's over. It's been crazy since the end of September, since the first day I've been here. I never expected anything from the kdrama, in fact I started it because I really like Young Hye Ji, but I'm fed up with them always giving him bad roles. Geum Sae Rok, I knew from the kdrama "Youth Of May" for me she's not the best actress but she's very cute and I like her. Kim Jung Hyun, I knew although I had never seen a kdrama of him but he's just excellent this actor really 10/10.
Yes of course I would have preferred a romance here, especially with such a cast, there are quite a few new actors I like here. Like "Chaa Woo Min" "Shin Su Hyun"
Episode 13 over: I was sure that in the end Godeoki's mistress would come back, which is kind of the point of the kdrama. On the other hand, it's a shame they decided that for Seung Hwi, making him Yun Gyeom afterwards makes sense when you think about it. It means that ML has only one personality now. I'd like to know why Yun Gyeom left and never came back. I must have missed something here. I only know ML by the names Seung Hwi and Yun Gyeom, but when does it take on the name "Song Seo In?" Also, did we mention that her grandmother passed away? I don't think so.
Wait can you explain why she doesn't deserve Gangju? Bc everyone is saying that and i just wanna know why bc i…
You probably didn't see the kdrama through to the end. She doesn't deserve Gangju because easily up to 25-26 episodes in, they hate him very clearly and to a death for Tae Woong. Her whole family sees Gangju as a piece of shit, calling him "The nuisance". It's only when Gangju helps her family that they start to appreciate Gangju, and also when Tae Woong tells DaRim that she's just a sister.
I'm sorry, but I honestly think there must have been a few laughs during the shoot here. Just with the scripts, even if you're an actor you have to laugh, there's nothing going on. Santi and her magazines, I'm an actor and I'm clearly bursting with laughter.
It's not just that too, I'm so afraid it's going to turn into something cringeworthy...
