Well, Ok Gyeong is the superstar of GukGeuk. Yeong-Seo and Joo-Ran are rising star, probably the next superstar.…
Yes, I did notice that Ok Gyeong was GukGeuk's superstar. The worry is that they've mismanaged the kdrama. Normally at episode 5-6 max you pass the torch and have the youngsters play in the main rooms. You don't keep Ok Gyeong and Hye Rang playing. What's the point, seriously? We watch the drama in order to see Jeongnyeon's adventures and adventures until he succeeds. You don't watch the drama to see Ok Gyeong do the same thing for 12 episodes and the rest of the cast get left out.

lol, love is only about kissing? I didn't know that till today
Kissing is an integral part of love, at least that's what confirms it. Why else are there always kissing scenes in romance kdramas? I'm sorry, but what's love without kisses? Can you stay with someone without ever kissing them in your life? No, so we agree that love=kisses for the most part.

On Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born Nov 12, 2024
So from what I've been able to read, the kdrama sticks to the webtoon, i.e. she'll never find her voice and won't be able to play a leading role, only small ones. I'm sure that's how it's going to be, they'll never pull off a miracle and have her play a leading role with either Ju Ran or Yeong So. Basically, the title is completely wrong. The title should have been: "Ok Gyeong, the Star is born.
Then why do we get the impression that Yeong So has feelings for Jeongnyeon? It sounds like feelings to me. The sort of shy laugh she makes when she talks to Ok Gyeong. But why come up with couple spells when we know there won't be any???
Fucking frustration. Frankly, I like the finale. I wouldn't give it more than a 6

this is so stupid?? What star is born? why did they make her have her mother's fate even before she even became…
Thank God, finally a comment that thinks like I do. I am literally mad as hell. I'm so scared of the finale. I'm afraid she'll never be a star but can sing like her mother with her husky voice. I want to cry thinking about it. Everything was fine, he just had to destroy her voice two episodes from the end. There'll never be a main performance between her and Yeong So.

I'm not overreacting when I say this is one of the best Kdramas of the year, if not the best. Just everything…
Honestly, it was magnificent from the beginning to episode 8. The last two episodes seemed to fall flat for me. There was a clear sense of haste. I'm afraid for the end.

okyeong walking away and leaving this way is quite disappointing for I actually liked the character before but…
Gee, thanks. They made it unbearable it was atrocious to see. I wanted to insult him. No empathy for Jeongnyeon. At first he was a great character, cool to watch. But for the last 2-3 episodes, she's been like a suicidal depressive. She's so annoying.

On Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born Nov 12, 2024
I've just finished watching the two episodes, a little late. I'm so scared for the end. 12 episodes are so short for this kind of kdrama. 4 more would have been perfect.

It pisses me off so much to know that Jeongnyeon will never surpass Okyeong. She's had nothing but trouble, poor thing, and then to start some kind of relationship between her and Yeong So two episodes from the end.
I'm completely disgusted because it's trying to make us believe in a romantic relationship, when we know there'll never be any kissing.

And why make Jeongnyeon suffer the same night as her mother? That is, the loss of her singing. We know very well when two episodes in, she'll never get her singing back, but we'll still see her in the final presentation. Basically, just a botch. It's just a kdrama to show Jeongnyeon's plight.
So far, the title doesn't do it justice. What about the mother? She's just fucking unbearable... I hate her character. She opens up in the end, but she's unbearable. It'll be over in two episodes, and I can feel the shit ending coming.

I can so see the end coming when Jongnyeon dances a final performance and either sings with a broken voice like her mother or she manages to unblock her voice and they're all shocked. Everyone cries, the kdrama ends like this.

In any case, there'd better be kisses!!!

I fucking screamed, sick episode 14. This drama just keeps getting better and better. I couldn't wait to get started and I'm not disappointed. I so wish I had 50 episodes and 1 a day. Too long to wait for the weekend

First time I've watched a BL as a hetero and I loved the drama.
The group of friends were just magical I loved it. Can you tell me what sounds they make when they dance in the nightclub in the 1st episodes?
Even at one point they all say: "That's our song".
On the other hand, I have the impression that MDL has trouble with the actors' roles. For me, there's only Go Yeong as the main character and the rest are secondary. Gyu Ho appears from episode 5, but you can't say he's the main character. I liked the Girl and it's a pity we don't see her from episode 3 or 4.
Édit: Ok it's the Sexy Love sound by the famous band T-Ara

I just hope that there will be no love triangle here because it’d be just weird if Hae Jun likes Ju Won because…
I doubt there will be any potential romance between Ju won and Hae Jun. We're still at episode 10 so it's way too late to do that with 6 episodes left. I honestly think we're going to get more and more scenes between Hae Jun and Dal and maybe some kind of relationship but honestly I highly doubt we'll get a kissing scene between the two. No here we'll just get a kiss between Ju won and San Ha 100%.

there is no way Lee Yi Kyung is a supporting role… probably another villainalso why does this show look so……
Because it was shot in 2023. It's like Bad Memory Eraser, which was shot in 2021 and is coming out in 2024. I hate it when they do that with a drama, you can see it right on the screen.

I feel like I'm watching a Bad Memory Eraser spinoff. I don't know what to make of it, but it's honestly not that great.

I like Woo do Hwan but I won't be watching this drama. I got spooled so I'm more interested now. I had reached here and when I saw it was Netflix. I knew right away and even before it came out I put a message that the episodes will come out all at once. How is it possible to finish a 10 episode drama in not even 1 day? Doesn't anyone work? I just don't get it.

I fucking hate kdramas that come out straight away, and I didn't miss it again. I just typed the name of the drama into Google to go to the Mdl page and boom I get spooled. I just hate it.

On the plus side, Sejeong and Jong Won are such a good match that they could be a couple in real life. Plus I really like the actor Jong Won, I hope he'll have some funny scenes because he was really funny in "Bad Memory Eraser". I don't like it when he plays too serious a role.

The 10-year time jump seems so incoherent and it's such a shame. For me, a time jump of 4-5 years would have been better. Especially since here we have a 10. year jump but it clearly feels like 0 major changes. I agree that Koreans and Asians age well, but any ethnic group that goes from 17 to 27 changes physically. It feels like the biggest change is just that the uniform has been tucked away in the Ahjussi lmaoo closet.
Not to mention the two ahjussi who haven't moved a muscle and are still working and not retired. Frankly, the time jump doesn't make any sense. That's why I keep saying that 10 years was far too long. In fact, they deliberately used the excuse that San Ha goes to Seoul and Hae Jun to the United States to introduce the 10-year leap.
In any case, I honestly hope we'll see flashbacks of Haejun playing basketball in the USA and how he got along with his father there. Although I doubt we'll see that.
