I wasn’t expecting episode 16 to be this intense, and so heartbreaking for the little fairy Xie Jia Yu… 🤕

> **Fuck, we're probably getting "Overdo" in late July or early August. I could cry with happiness. I'm gonna tattoo a huge Republic of China flag across my chest.**

Chae Jong Hyeop 🙌🏻

Well, I have a few things to say about this drama. I'm starting to get a bit annoyed, to be honest. Then they throw in the classic K-drama trope: the pointless mini-breakup between the ML and FL that, 90% of the time, leads nowhere and gets resolved in a single episode. 😀

As for the second couple, Kang Mina seems to have only one facial expression. And whoever was responsible for the SML's haircut deserves jail. The purple hair dye looks absolutely awful and so fake—it honestly looks like chalk. It reminds me of those fake hair color filters you pick in photo-editing apps. Just terrible.

Please, who's in charge of the music? It's perfect—a 10 out of 10. It's magnificent. Every day we discover a new incredible song. Duan Aojun's soundtrack is magnificent.

Well, there’s a lot to say, and I’m starting to find it really annoying. We’re heading toward a mini-breakup that will probably be resolved quickly, but what’s the point? It’s totally pointless. Now let’s talk about the second couple, who I think are really lame. I really like Kang Mi Na, but I’m sorry—she has just one expression that she repeats over and over. And who decided on that hair dye color, for crying out loud? It looks so fake—it looks like chalk to me—but it’s the worst color I’ve ever seen in a drama. It looks like the same colors you try out in a photo app.

watched 5 episodes in one day and I absolutely love it. It’s so enjoyable to see the beginnings of two very young new actresses, Yu Ji Ahn and Seo Su Min. This is their first drama, and they’re doing such a great job.

When are the episodes coming out? Does anyone have a contact who worked on the drama and can tell us everything? Two episodes of Neo Hou are not enough. I can’t believe we only have 28 episodes… 😖

Dino’s OST is incredible, I can’t believe it. It’s amazing. That’s it, it’s going to be playing on repeat in my headphones now. This is it — these are the kind of OSTs we want to hear.

Good grief… that last kiss was seriously HOT 🌡️🔥. I don't think we've had a scene like that in a drama in a long time.

The soundtrack for this drama is absolutely incredible. I’ve found a new favorite song, performed by Xin Liu.

Min Ji is so cute. She reminds me of Kim Da-mi.

I can't get Neo Hou's name out of my head. I'm so thankful the heavens blessed us with a Neo Hou drama this summer. Honestly, aren't we having one of the greatest summers ever? We've got the World Cup, tons of amazing Korean and Chinese dramas... This is legendary. We're being absolutely spoiled.

I'm starting this drama a bit late. I have so many C-dramas to watch right now, but I saw the amazing ratings and reviews for this one, and honestly, I'm really in the mood for this kind of story. I hope I'll enjoy it and have a great time watching it.

I'm reading the synopsis, and it's probably the 400th "reunited as adults" drama at this point. We literally get this exact kind of storyline every single year.

Korean writers genuinely have zero ideas for dramas at this point—it's getting seriously ridiculous. It's always the same damn clichés on repeat whenever it's not an office drama.

And then there's always the same setup where either the ML or the FL has become successful while the other hasn't and spends the whole time dwelling on the past. Over and over and over again.

Will the songs sung by the FL’s ex be released or not? I really like them.

I'm so confused. We're in 2011 in the drama, right? Or am I getting it wrong? Then why did Miao Jing's phone say 2007?

Sometimes it's honestly hard to follow. The show jumps from 2011 to 2007 without any clear transition, so it's easy to get lost.

Episode 17 was absolutely insane. This is hands down the best drama currently airing. Chen Yi and Miao Jing, I love you both. A solid 10/10, no debate.

And the soundtrack... every single song is perfect. I never would've expected Song Weilong and Zhang Jingyi to have this kind of chemistry, but they're absolutely electric together. Holy fucking shit, their chemistry is unreal. ❤️🔥

Well, the release is just a few hours away! Now it's time for predictions for one of the most anticipated K-dramas of Summer 2026.

What do you think—will it be a success or a flop?

I'm specifically talking about its rating on MDL, since a K-drama that gets a low score there can still be a huge success elsewhere.

The poster for the drama is stunning—easily one of the best we've seen in a long time.
