The drama goes by way too fast — it’s insane. I was so scared for my poor little Woo Ju. On the other hand, the drama feels really refreshing, but it’s honestly *so* predictable — especially the whole SML-being-the-apartment-owner twist. I totally saw that coming.
I keep wondering—how did “Lee Woo Gyeom” know that his plan had succeeded? We see him laughing at the end while he’s in isolation, with absolutely no access to any news. Is he really 100% sure that it works every single time? I don’t know, but I always get the feeling that he’s playing them and that there’s something much bigger going on. Honestly, it could make the drama a lot better if there’s something else we don’t know about yet.
The drama is clearly not very appealing or something that makes you eager for a new season anytime soon—at least that’s the feeling I get. The acting is rather weak overall, except for Ryeoun, who really elevates the whole show. But we can all agree that Geum Sae Rok was miscast for this role. Honestly, it just doesn’t suit her. I really don’t find her convincing. The drama doesn’t spark much curiosity and feels quite predictable. The only positive point is that it’s only 8 episodes long.
It's literally not a judgment against her, but Roh Jeong Eui looks so thin and weak after all that, she feels good that way, so it's perfect, and it's not our choice but hers.
Honest question: why would yoi shower in the morning? I always do it in the evening, to wash off all the dirt,…
Brazilian culture: it's super hot there and they shower 20 times a day. Their water must be free because I can't even imagine doing that in the West. The norm is one shower a day and two in summer, but personally, I'm not a guy who sweats, which means that I won't stink after two days without showering.
I’m sorry, but please, we really don’t need a love triangle. The chemistry between the ML and FL is a pure 10/10, and I’m sorry but the SML just feels unnecessary here. At most, he can end up with the FL’s friend — just no love triangle, please.
Cho Jun Young is talented, and we're practically the same age. I loved him in “Spring Fever” and even “Crushology 101,” but this clearly wasn't the right role for him. I found his character unappealing and dull. He didn't shine or show anything special. There isn't a single scene where you think, “Wow, what he's doing here is really powerful.”
Well, after five episodes, I still don't really understand the character of “Taiga” and why he seems so shy every time he talks to Rin. We learned that this isn't his first relationship, but damn, it's so cringe-worthy at times when the two talk to each other. I've seen so many series where the chemistry wasn't there, but here, I'm not going to lie, it's the worst chemistry I've ever seen in my life. There is literally zero chemistry between them. I'm not even going to talk about Hyewon's acting, which is just so weak. She has no range of expression, damn it, she really looks like she's straight out of a web drama.
What a joy it is to see Noa again — she wasn’t in the last episode. She’s so beautiful; I smile like an idiot whenever she appears. She’s absolutely stunning.
It’s literally the worst second romance in a K-drama. I’m obviously talking about Han Gyeol and Se Jin. I love the actor Cho Jun Young, but here he has absolutely no chemistry with Lee Jae In. Their relationship adds nothing to the story and feels like it’s only there to fill the one-hour episodes. I enjoyed the “relationship” between the two professors way more.
The drama started off strong and was very funny at first, but as the weeks went by, the number of genuinely funny scenes dropped a lot. Instead, we got quite a few scenes that felt repetitive and honestly a bit tiring to watch. Overall, the quality of the drama gradually faded as the story progressed. The main strengths of the show are the chemistry between Jae Gyu and Yoon Bom, as well as lawyer Choi I Jun. I had never seen this actor before, but he did a really good job and I genuinely enjoyed his performance. Aside from that, the supporting cast doesn’t add much to the story and doesn’t deliver particularly outstanding performances. I usually think the actor playing Han Gyeol is very good in other dramas I’ve seen him in, but here he is clearly sidelined. His character is not interesting at all, and neither is his “relationship” with Se Jin.
I think they have some similarities, but I usually don't think of Lu Yuxiao when I see Wang Churan. I personally…
You’re crazy to think that. For me, Lu Yuxiao is among the best new Chinese actresses. In every drama I’ve seen her in, her acting was absolutely insane. Her latest drama, “Love Between Lines” with CXX, is a true masterpiece, and her performance in it is phenomenal. I also loved seeing her alongside Neo Hou in LITC. She’s definitely an actress I’ll follow no matter what drama she does.
