Heyyy i love this drama and I'm craving for something like this 😭 can you recommend some melodrama like this…
Hey there, friend, I don't know many like that with voiceovers in the background, but I would say: - The Light In Your Eyes (2019) - Something In The Rain (2018) - One Spring Night (2019) - A Time Called You (2023) - A Hundred Memories (2025, currently in production)
Tomorrow is the big day, I can't wait. I watched the press conference and Suzy is the most beautiful woman on this planet. My queen Suzy, it's been so long. Tomorrow, I might have a stroke no matter how it ends.

My last 10/10 was back in May with the incredible “Our Unwritten Seoul.” I had to wait four months before giving another 10/10. I literally can't believe they listened to me. It's crazy. I asked for it for the finale. - Death of the uncle, death of Lady Kang - Ji Yeong and the King reunite + kiss scene - Gil Geum in the future - Doyoung's OST at the end.
It literally had everything, so I had to give it a 10/10. Doyoung's OST is definitely my top 2025. 😀
We can talk about the character Kang Mok Ju played by (Kang Han Na). Her acting is literally a masterpiece; I got goosebumps because she played so well. Honestly, I loved her role as the villain here, and bravo to her.
The only negative points here are clearly: - The revolt was far too short, barely half an episode. It would have been much better to have the revolt in episodes 9-10, when the uncle is enjoying being king and the ML and FL are in difficult situations. Here, the FL was clearly very lucky, very clearly. All of Lady Kang's scheming literally didn't work, and her character never had a moment of glory. - The second point is the king who comes from the future and arrives very clearly without any problems and is literally not shocked by time travel, as if he had lived in the future his whole life, but I think that was just to give them a happy ending.
For me, it's definitely the opposite. The bus company storyline was a breath of fresh air in K-dramas, and frankly, it brought something new to the table. Now I'm just afraid we'll get a 2025-style K-drama set in 1989. Do you see what I mean? Basically, I'm so afraid of scenes like “Let's go eat at the noodle restaurant.” We all have our jobs, we meet up, we drink. In short, all the stuff we see in 2025 dramas. The bus plot is going to be literally sidelined 😂
I want to know why did the writers do this to Hae Ja. What does it bring to the story? There were million ways…
One thing that is definitely certain here is that Hae Ja will certainly not be returning to the drama. Her accident clearly marks her departure, and as you said, “Why her?” The screenwriter said that he was going to see a scene before the time jump that will definitely change the fate of the three characters. We know that it's clearly the pen scene and not Hae Ja's, so why this plot for her?
Friday is going to be crazy, I can't wait, I've been waiting for this my whole life. My heart is clearly about to burst, and it's likely to be even stronger on Thursday night. One thing is certain: on Friday, I'll watch all 12 episodes, even if it means losing sleep. The drama airs in the morning where I live, which bothers me a little because it's clearly a K-drama to watch at night. Worst case scenario, I'll close the blinds and that'll do the trick, lol.
