SweetBlue

I’ll provide a quick review of this drama. While the cast—including Fukushi Sota and Shida Sara—is quite good, I was disappointed that the first episode failed to capture my interest. The plot feels rather strange and illogical (at least compared to other Japanese dramas I’ve watched in the same genre). Furthermore, the storyline involving the two journalists (Hayama Shono and his companion) in the first episode also struck me as nonsensical. It’s a real shame, especially since the martial arts choreography—which was showcased right from the first episode—is actually quite good. There are so many excellent dramas this season, so I’ve decided to drop this one.
