why does it look like a college project? the editing is weird. The acting is mediocre, to the point it's distracting for me. wish I had read the reviews earlier! Not going to waste any more of my time on this.
🛑🛑🛑Question1. Happy ending?2. Story?3. Chemistry?4. Kiss scene?
1. yes 2.the story is a simple predictable coming back for revenge but fell in love again. 3.good chemistry 4.yes (idk if there were more but i remember 1)
I'm new to this site, recommended by a sibling. Is this common? I see some high rated dramas that aren't very…
usually those who are not interested in a drama just ignore it and move on. but in xz's dramas, some will give it 1 to lower the overall rating instead of an honest rating. some are highly rated cause others don't go down-rate them just to despise.
I could never make sense of what shows up on top airing shows (either for xz dramas or some jdramas) so I'm just happy TLP is back on it.
It was nice drama overall and leads had good chemistry but I have a little complaint on the ending!
I can't believe myself saying this, but I preferred a sad ending over the ending we got. The ending where they met in modern world only works in time travel (that the ancient guy remembers his past and all) imo not this kind of game concept.
The furthest I can go to connect a game to modern world is a bug that affects a character being modeled over a real person, then somehow he gets the game memories or some other person actually being stuck in game by the bug? absurd but imo works.
what I mean is... even if the time travel isn't allowed, just do proper adjustments instead of acting like "entering game equals time travel", cause it's not same.
so I was going to start this but based on clips I’ve seen and the comments, I will have to deal with a 2FL pining…
when the fl and ml are together, 2fl is just background noise, don't worry about it. but you need to endure number of episodes before that till 2fl and ml break up. for the flashbacks idk cause I only seen spoilers while it was on air and haven't fully watched yet. hope the info helps.
Before watching I thought 6.8 rating is a bit harsh but now I can understand the low rating. to summarize my thoughts after watching, I could say: Boring & forgettable
This drama is an example of how the ending can ruin a drama. Seriously?? The way she gets happy opening the box made it even more absurd to me! As much as I hate them for getting so many killed with their facade, both of them cared for her at some point.
Can someone tell me if she pretends to be a man for the whole series? I'm getting ready to start episode 4 but…
No, she won't pretend till the end. she will dress as a woman in public in later episodes. don't read further if you don't want to know exact episodes. I wrote them while I remember in case you might be interested to know . . . . . . . .
. . . . .
Until ep12 some will figure she is a girl, by ep 14 all her friends know and ep 16 everyone knows she isn't a man. though she still dress as men sometimes. (I assume it's their uniform since there are no women as detectives there, so she continues to wear that).
I don't know how they did it but they managed to add so many unnecessary scenes in a 10 min episode that it was so extra I had to skip through to finish it. I liked the twist BUT I wish they made the reveal in ep17 and wrap everything in ep18. The ending was so badly done I had a 'wtf happened' reaction.
started okay, became interesting gradually and then became meh... It was a waste of good cast. they could just do 30 episodes instead of dragging the story. It was a struggle to watch last 10 episodes.

I've been holding back to watch the rest of episodes till all episodes are out.
Everything else (specially the leads) just left me speechless.

Although it's set around 70s, and the romance isn't the focus, the drama is relatively good.
