I'm not going to waste my time watching next season.
They had 6 episodes but only 2 episodes were enough.. too much unnecessary filler..
I was going to drop it at ep 4 but the ending made me think 'oh, maybe it's getting better in last 2 episodes!' BUT it didn't!
the cast were good reason for me to check this out but not enough to save it!

there were so many charts (such as DataWin, Vlinkage , etc) that TangSan and Douluo Continent conquered in China and reports of platforms (cctv drama tv channel, yangshipin app tencent) that claimed Douluo Continent was well recieved.
here are some examples:
-in 'China TV Drama Industry Development Trend Report 2021', it topped the list. (No.1 (53.2%) in effective broadcast market share on the platform Tencent and driving the platform's growth in paid memberships)
-The most famous series drama in 2021 in Weibo Night 2021 awards
- it was in Tencent's 2022 Annual Barrage Top5
-exceeded 200m daily views in tencent

as for international we don't have as many means to measure its popularity but as far as I know, it got trended in twitter in several countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc.
there are many who are anticipating the 2nd season as well.

my personal opinion is with the lack of marketing it had when it aired, it did better in china than internationally, at the same time it gained a decent popularity in its genre internationally.

I haven't watched the anime so idk about that, but in later episodes of drama, we get to know some background knowledge that explained her behavior for me.
If I'm not mistaken, Xiao Zhan got this role before his big breakthrough, so that's why it wasn't big budget, they tried to do better cgi later on before airing it.
although I enjoyed watching all episodes, my favorite episodes of drama were 21 till 24 . so I recommend you to continue watching, maybe your favorite episodes also be in second half as well.

I'm done with trying to watch this drama.. watched 5 episodes and it feels like nothing is happening...
although I like Seo Kang Joon, this drama is just too slow and boring ... dropping it.

technically they were married in her past life (she didn't like him that time) and she resurrected back to her wedding night, so they are together from the beginning of resurrection in late ep1 if I remember correctly.

it has happy ending.
there isn't any love triangle (there was one guy who fell in love with fl but fl only loved ml so i didn't count that as triangle), the leads love each other and there wasn't any break up.

I had conflicted feelings when I watched the ending.. It connects some dots and let us know what was going all that time and the same time it was like a teaser for 2nd season. could say a cliffhanger.

there isn't any official cast list for 2nd season, so we don't know if Xiao Zhan gonna be in it or not (his character story needs continuation in next season). could be cause of his busy schedule.

The acting is bad (FL's the worst among them) and it doesn't improve one bit till ep6.. I'm done with the cringe. dropping it.

I'll wait to see how it goes. If the violence only hovers around 5 or 6 I think I might be able to watch it but it might be too soon for me to start now.
I had to drop 'Strangers from hell' for this although I liked the plot and everything else.

Nearly 5 months has passed since I watched the first episode and every time I tried watching the rest, the slowness of the dramas felt like a torture!
this drama is the first ever drama that I'm gonna watch 2x speed! it actually felt tolerable when I tried this way... although it's kind of fascinating how some scenes are so slow that it still stays slow on 2x speed

it got me confused as well...

I also liked this drama, according to what I witnessed since Douluo Continent's airing, those who loved the anime weren't much satisfied with drama.
the anime wasn't to my taste so I didn't watch it.
I liked this as an adaptation.

yes. it was well received and liked by audience.

there are 2 versions of this drama, one has 29 (web/dvd version) and another has 32 (tv version) episodes. both are complete and content is same.
the only difference is episode's duration.

the subs for this show are being posted slowly so I assume it will take much longer to get fully subbed.

this was too slow and awkward!
only 4 episodes but took me forever to finally finish it.
