Not at all. The only similarity is that they knew each other from high school.

For once, I wished this series was longer. I want more series with mature actors. These two lit the screen on fire.

That all being said, solid 8/10. I would rate it higher if they developed more of their relationship when she went back to Shanghai to establish her career. I wanted to see more of that. I know they could overcome any obstacles but I wanted to see it play out.

1. Pretty early on. They’ve been in love since high school.
2. & 3. 4No official break ups but fights which were resolved very quickly, like within minutes.
5. No second leads. Other people expressed their interests but they only have eyes for each other
6. Ex gf but no bad blood, she actually helped them a bit
7. Happy ending

I don’t get the hybe about the second lead from the others in the series. Maybe it’s because our ML is a fucking STUD. I’m dead for him.

I am OBSESSED with this couple and series. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy. I love it when we’re given 2 mature adults. Their flashbacks are adorable.

These were my thoughts as well. The fact that he called her definitely made me suspicious of their connection. The mom looked sus when she asked about her savior.
