I’m on episode 2 and despite the hype, I’m getting bored. Tell me, does it pick up soon? I love Reply 1988 and slice of life series but I’m not feeling this, yet.

Edit: I finished episode 2 and I get it, now. It’s finally at the hooking point. I’ll be back. Gonna go binge now.

I feel like if they gave us the historical storyline, it would be even better. I’m more intrigued by their past lives. The modern storyline with the ex gf, crazy mysterious villain, vengeful spirit and lost soul is too much packed into one.

To me, overprotective is healthier than possessive. Overprotective is when you want your significant other to be safe and are suspicious of others’ intentions in the interest of your significant other. Possessive is when you don’t want anyone else to have that person and don’t care for their own interests, you only care for your own selfish interests. I see Walh not just as a confused gay but as a selfish and possessive one.

What did you mean by how Guy was behaving different than Walh? I didn’t understand that.

Haha I don’t consider those who play obvious bad guys as evil characters but more of just in your face bad guys if that makes sense? Yea, complex evil characters must acquire very deep psychological understanding of the characters to convey in depth how truly insane they are.

I agree that the sister is not as evil as the stepmother but i feel as though her greed will lead her down that same road.

That being said, ML actor should be in more series.

Yes, we should definitely differentiate between the actors and characters.

I feel that it’s more difficult to play evil characters vs good ones because you have to show more range of emotions to truly be a great villain and you have to tolerate people hating your guts when they associate your face with that particular character.

Let’s just hope they continue to be intimate now that the deed has been done.

The sister is typecast for sure to play the evil characters in most of her supporting roles. I don’t like it when she’s clenching her teeth, quivering her lips and flaring her nostrils when acting mad. Like girl, we get it. Just do one of those expressions, but not all 3!

Nonetheless, she’s doing her job because we all loathe her.

I had the same thought from episode 1. I almost dropped it because I saw the 3 Bs: botox, bad acting and bad budget. It was giving day time soap but thankfully the compelling storyline overshadowed all of that. The awful stepmother and sister should really chill on the facial expressions. They about to pop a vein or shit blood.

I don’t see Walh as being overprotective but possessive. He didn’t care about Guy before he noticed Tew’s presence. If he was such a good “friend” to Guy, he would give him real advice but allow Guy the right to choose what he wants to do. He stalked Guy, acted like a jealous boyfriend, but would drop Guy the second his gf came calling. He then strung Guy along by inviting himself to sleep over and almost kissed him only to panic and back away. If he’s so confused about his own feelings, he should be more respectful with his gf and Guy in order to figure out what he wants instead of playing with both of them. That makes for a shitty boyfriend and friend.

Guy is in this desperate panic state right now where his long term crush is starting to show some interest and the sexy oppa who is way out of his league confessed. This episode was disappointing on many levels.

The bathtub threesome was hot, but I wanted so desperately for one of the guys to dunk Kenji into the water and get rid of those crimping in his weave. It had soap and everything to give him that shine. So disappointed.

The biggest villain here isn’t billionaire papa with them mismatched ash blonde hair and dark eyebrows, or Kenji with that permed hair, or Muffin with her cosplay, but Walh for being a punk ass bitch. He bitch slapped G Oppa and almost got himself knocked out. I shipped G Oppa’s fist with Wahly’s face more than any other couples.

I’m glad the leads aren’t acting like virgins around each other. It would’ve been extremely annoying to be married and not even a kiss considering the sexual tension between them. He’s just irresistible with his charms.
