I snuck in here a few days ago before starting the series and read negative comments which made me feel a bit disappointed and discouraged. However, I watched it and 2 episodes flew by. It’s freaken good, y’all! I’m liking the flashbacks mirroring the present. The editing is really nice, especially the ending of episode 2. I’m also liking the fact that he’s starting to understand his supernatural powers.
The good thing about this series is that there are 3 couples. The men are good friends with one another and so are the women. I want to be in that circle of friendship because seeing all 3 men in their riding uniforms got me all hot and bothered 🥵 There aren’t any toxic love triangles. I’m looking forward to some triple dates.
Here’s hoping from here on out, the main leads will grow up and learn to communicate.
Yes..main couple dont talk normally with each other..they are like dumb characters.
It’s incredibly frustrating to see 2 successful intellectuals not know how to properly interact or communicate with one another. How many stupid misunderstandings must you have due to just sheer stupidity? At this point, it’s not even flirty or them playing coy games. It’s passive aggression and pettiness. I haven’t watch ep 9 and 10 yet but hopefully they’ll improve
It’s an interesting dilemma when the viewers are more interested in the second leads than the main leads. I’ve been a fan of Dylan since his Fairy Met Devil phase, but this character is not working for him. He’s outshined by his 2 besties and the same goes for Bai Lu.
Guan Ji is dashingly handsome and the tension between him and ShanShan is on fire. I could tell by the intro song that Yu Yu will end up with the niece who is young and cute. These 2 couples are set up to be vastly more interesting than the leads.
What’s wrong with the leads? Well, you get an arrogant and petty rich guy and messy but quirky average girl. This formula is typical and usually is successful but why not here? Perhaps it’s because they’re both equally… DUMB. Oh god it’s horrendous. 🤦🏻♀️
IFYLITA is on my list to binge now that it ended. I don’t do well with weekly airings if it’s slow burn or filled with angst. November is looking pretty busy with so many new ones!
