I put my cake aside so I can write this because I'm literally just.. Idk how to explain it, but I'll try. These…
Agreed. Tired of these bland, vanilla and no whipped cream kinda characters. Gimme some of that delicious chocolate mocha with extra cream on top. We talking about cakes, right? 👀
Not another Patty Cake (Step by Step) situation where everybody and their gay bestie fall in love with the same clueless intern. 🤦🏻♀️ Aiish. Eotake?!
Y’all KNOW how much we love eye candies on screen but y’all also know how much we loathe this trope. We TIRED.
Imma lock Hot Jun in the closet with Fur Coat Simon & make them fall in love. Why couldn’t we get Hot & Hot together? I’m sick of Hot & Bothered together. We REALLY TIRED.
As someone who is currently working in an office, from America, I concur that it is as boring as it gets. So many…
I would not be dumb and insensitive enough in this day and age to make such jokes in life or the work place. I pay attention to those who are out of place on such an open discussion forum so I know who to stay away from. Thanks for that courtesy.
yes many issues related to side characters didn't get resolved at the end. Its kinda like the main couple was…
Agreed! They focused so much on the leads living this fantasy world while ignoring all the other issues they introduced. Why bother doing that if everything gets swept under the rug at the end? Her friends were more interesting to watch because they had actual plots and they both got the shitty ends.
I want a light-hearted and fluffy romcom, and those poorly or un-resolved issues you listed bother me as well,…
Very true! The whole issue with his birth mother was poorly executed. He was all set on finding out about her, but then hesitated when he got a lead. It was so anticlimactic when he met her again. Why even make this a focus of the story when it was so easily brushed aside?
My guess is that he will work from the city and come home on the weekend? Idk who thought of this arrangement.
This is a good rom com for those who want a lighthearted & fluffy romance without all the toxic characters, dramas and love triangles.
However, this is an average series for those who want something more. It’s a 7/10 for me because I wanted to see more issues resolved.
I thought Pyung Hwa suffered the most in her occupation and yet nothing happened to better it. She remained stagnant due to their prejudices and unfair treatment. The only thing she did was kick the pilot’s nuts and walked away.
We all know Da Eul married an incompetent loser & she stayed with him. Just because she’s got the upper hand as the breadwinner, we’re supposed to be cool with just how awful her husband is? Another terrible ending for her character.
Won’s noona. All of a sudden- we cool now? Huh? What? Too abrupt, not developed at all.
Agreed - totally loved them in To Sir with Love, and they are serving here too! Hopefully we see more of them!
I speak Viet but if I had to listen to Thai & try to read fast in Viet, I’d be crosseyed & dead. You have mad dedication for Magyvering all those languages just for good subs 👏
I bow to Zaddy Jeng .
Is there no one watching over & giving them the heads up like yo- them BL fans are catching on. We need BL Po Po to monitor these kinds of things.
