It’s written so odd (again, I only watched the first episode). The prince mentioned he’s his bestie, but he’s just been giving the prince the stink face since day 1.
Sigh. I’m a fan of Simon & I appreciate Dilraba. I was so stoked to hear of this pairing. However, so far I’m not impressed at all with the story or acting. We all know both can act, so what the hell is going on? Are the characters just not written well? Something is not clicking. The production feels cheap with the horrific CGI & so many random clichés just thrown into scenes.
I appreciate a badass FL but it’s not doing her any justice. I want my Wen KeXing’s Simon back! Simon could do so much more had his character been given more than just a sick puppy love prince. Although, it’s just the first episode and I’m hoping for more. The character is coming off as a weak daddy’s boy and me no likey.

Put be smirking in the corner thanking the lord for not letting him get back with Patty. Then, Zaddy gets on the plane with Jaab. We find them meeting Jane where Jane introduces Zaddy Jeng to his friend (insert any actor of choice) & the all live happily ever after in (insert paradise location of choice).

I’m so glad I caught this mistake! I was on the Viki app and they had both series side by side so I was like- wait a damn minute. No wonder I had no idea what y’all were talking about! I watched the trailer for this just now and I’m looking forward to it. Hopefully, it won’t disappoint.

My bad. I said I couldn’t make it through the first episode. I obviously missed these points. I just had the original Addicted as them in high school so college boys threw me off. Even though it is the same as you said, I still can’t sit through it.
Is we all watching the same thing? I’m reading so many comments saying there are similarities to Addicted but I saw none. Although, I couldn’t make it beyond the first episode.
The acting is cringe & especially the forced “fierce” looks from Su Yu. Y’all know he’s trying too hard. I can’t do bromance anymore unless it’s ridiculous good like Word of Honor or The Untammed.
