I see. Well, I have no idea then why it’s seen as ok in Korea :/ it’s very sad … I hope they will Soon stop normalize abuse! It could be that South Korea is one of the most fast developed countries in the world … not too long ago it was a Poor country with dictatorship. So while the technology etc has developed fast , and s. Korea becoming so rich… the people hasn’t had the time to keep up with it all because everything went too fast .. so That’s maybe why they still have a ’old’ mindset … But Yeah its disturbing , and whenever someone is being abused at work in kdramas, none of the follow employees steps up to defend the abused one. They just stay still watching , not doing anything to help :/

confucianism is a philosophy (some sort of religion) it believes in hierarchy where respect for the older one or the one with higher position is very important
i agre totally , it shock’s me whenever I see work abuse in kdramas and NO ONE does anything about it! If it is like that IRL in Korea as well , then I’m glad I’m not working there
is this supposed to be a noona romance? I know Song Hye Kyo is older than Jang Ki Young, but is her character supposed to be older than his character in the drama as well?

Hey Thank you, i learnt a lot from you…:) i didn’t know the director of this made Painter of the Wind (havent watched it yet but only heard great stuff about it!) I didn’t know Kim Yoo Jung was the child actress in it, maybe I should watch …after all about painting in that too I guess. So its cool she is in a drama again now as the (adult) FL this time Where she Will be a painter, even by the guy who created painter in the wind, and now he’s the director of this! Now i have even more high hopes of this drama .. i sincerely hope it won’t dissapoint!! :)

Yeah in 'Moon Embracing the Sun' many liked the child actors / their romance more than the adult actors / their romance. Hopefully it won't be the case in this drama... but then again Kim Yoo Jung was the child actor in METS, and she's the main actor in Red Sky, she's a very great actress so maybe we won't in this one prefer the child actor more. I'm not sure about Ahn Hyo Seop tho, have never seen any dramas of him. But from the trailers I watched of Red Sky, at least his chemistry with Kim Yoo Jung seems good. :)
Some are worried that it will be more like Ahn Hyo Seop’s drama than Kim Yoo Jung’s, that he will get more screentime than her/ steal her spotlight. Ofc I wouldn’t want that either but I wouldn’t mind if his character was just as important as Kim Yoo Jung’s, or almost as important. I want Ha Ram to be a full developed character with lots of depth (just like Hong Chun Gi), not just a pretty face lol.
I’m very dumb , why does the ML hesitate dating the FL just because shes’s an famous actress? If anything , he would get a ”higher”status dating a celebrity, no ? So I don’t get it ?? Or is it because she’s a woman and dating a celebrity of ”higher” status who is a woman is a huge blow to a man’s ego? Sorry for my stupid question lol. And does it take a very long time until they become a couple?
Off topic. This question if for anyone who lives in China or experienced living in China. Are relationships in…
I doubt relationships (generelly speaking ) are like that in china IRL. The reason for misundetstandings, falling for dirty tricks etc in cdramas is because otherwise there would be no story to tell, there would be many less episodes. China loves angst! Also, china has a long way to go when it comes to gender equality, hence there are so many stupid FLs in cdramas. However, not ALL cdramas has stupid FLs :)
