I’m looking sooo much forward to this!! Not just for the romance but also because of the story as it’s partly a true story since the Japanese invasion happened irl .. and the Japanese were so horrific back then, they did many cruel, evil unforgivable things😱😱 it will make me learn a bit more about the history… Bridal Mask and Chicago Typewriter (2 other dramas set during Japanese invasion) are not available for me anywhere to watch atm … I hope this exciting drama will be available for me to watch :)

Yes! China faaar from great country BUT is actually great in that sense that they execute adults who raped children —execute … in public too. So I respect them for that, at least. Korea, Japan could never… the child rapists just get a slap on the shoulder maybe 2-3 years in jail then they already out free…

China as bad as it seems there (no democracy etc ) at least care genuinely about the children and their safety

For that reason I wouldn’t boycott any of Yoo Ah In’s dramas, the only one he hurt was himself. Drugs are ofc bad but it’s nothing compared to hurt innocent people.

I boycott any dramas if the actress playing the FL or ml playing the ML has done something very horrible and unforgiving—and as for those I watched prior to their scandal I won’t rewatch. I watched the epic drama The Princess’ man back in 2012, before park shi hoo (the actor who plays the ml there) had his scandal. After his scandal (supposedly he most likely did something that made me sick to my stomach) I can’t anymore watch The princess’ man. It’s a shame because I love that drama so much , but I just can’t…

So I can’t watch or rewatch any of Kim Soo Hyun’s drama even if they are masterpieces! I don’t care if I’m being silly. If you hurt a innocent person purposefully you are a huge no no for me 🤢

Is it true that Kim Sae Ron or Sulli (sorry don’t remember I’m dumb I know) owned Kim Soo Hyun money but couldn’t afford to pay back in time, but some nice person offered to pay Kim Soo Hyun the money she owned him, but he REFUSED to take the money?? Show’s KSH wanted to make her a life hell…he’s disgusting

For shock value, definitely the Japanese version. It’s even more dark and twisted than the Korean version. But if you want better romance I recommend the Korean version… chemistry was 🔥 too.

Most seem to love the iconic second couple of Business Proposal (even more so then the main couple) but no matter how hot they are together I just couldn’t like them (and I didn’t like the main couple either) , I felt their relationship was quite problematic. Business proposal didn’t do it for me at all, too cliche and cringe. I don’t understand why it was such a huge hit 🤷‍♀️ Well it had some very funny moments no doubt about that…

I didn’t like the second couple after the SML took advantage of the SFL drunken state and slept with her—she was SO drunk that she didn’t remember anything! And then he got grumpy because she didn’t remember , instead of apologizing to her =_=

I didn’t like the main couple because the FL didn’t ever seem that much into the ML … nor did I like that the ML was too pushy and basically used his power over her to basically force her to spend time with him.

So yeah, I couldn’t like either of the 2 couples. The acting was great tho.

I think(?) this is Nam Joo Hyuk’s first historical drama since Moon lovers: scarlet heart ryeo (2016) and there he wasn’t even the ML! So this is his first historical drama as the ML? I’m looking forward to this drama SO much !!

I agree , he’s much better in dark dramas and romantic serious dramas.

Normally I usually only watch romance dramas (as the main genre or as the subgenre) but this drama looks too damn amazing !! Will watch this definitely the same day it airs!

I have 3 episodes left and I’m really loving this drama! It’s not a masterpiece like The Red Sleeve, My Dearest etc, but the acting is amazing and the chemistry between the leads is 🔥 one of my favorite kdrama couples for sure! And the love making scene is one of the best and most beautiful in kdramaland~ the kisses wooow 🔥🔥 and I’m deeply touched by how deeply, intensely the ML loves, he would go through hell and fire for his woman !! If you love MLs like that , who loves with all his heart and soul — who would risk it ALL for the FL etc , then this drama is for you. Plus Kang Tae Oh is so hot in this drama, and not having this feminine flower boy type of looks (yay!) and Kim Se Jeong is just as great at acting as Kang Tae Oh, you totally feel the deep love and passion their characters has for each other. One of the best chemistry in kdramaland for sure…

This drama while not perfect, deserves way higher rating than 8,1!

I have a feeling the chemistry between the leads will be on FIRE 🔥♨️🥵 two villains in a love-hate relationship ?? I think the chemistry will be so intense and there will be sexual tension too! Looking forward to tomorrow ^^

A historical kdrama NOT set in joseon dynasty for once ?? Finally! It’s set in 1200s Korea - Goryeo Dynasty! I can’t remember the last time there was a kdrama set earlier than joseon dynasty… maybe ”River where the moon rises” from 2021??

Don’t get me wrong , I think Joseon dynasty is very interesting but it’s nice that for a change it’s set earlier than joseon dynasty, for once.
