People really hate the poster on reddit, am i weird for liking it?

I love the poster. This is the upcoming drama i’m most interested in (alongside In Your Brilliant Season, Wife of a 21st Century Prince and Show Business - but they won’t air until next year) So i would be very dissapointed if this drama didn’t turn out great.. but this is after all by one of the most famous screenwriters Kim Eun Sook where most of her dramas are great and have turned into big hits - especially Goblin. So I have high hopes for this one , that she won’t mess it up…

Btw, Aladdin is my 3d favorite Disney movie ❤️ after The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. Gosh Disney was at its best in 1990s and i’m not saying it because I’m a 90s child.

This could be good, I love time travel stuff. But I heard the web novel has only a little romance and that the ML is actually very cruel for real (not misunderstood, he actually is cruel). I hope the drama will have more romance and make the ML … less cruel. Ofc I know he will be a hot tempered tyrant but I hope that he has still at least some reedemable qualities, not totally evil/unlikeable. I hope the chemistry will be good between Yoona and Lee Chae Min, I have a feeling that the chemistry will be on fire 🔥 based on the posters/pics/trailers, I will look forward to their dynamic, looks interesting.

I don’t think it was ever mentioned, or maybe I just missed it.. i’m glad that there is finally a proper ongoing historical cdrama, as much as i like xianxia right now at the moment i’m a bit tired of them, there has been no new xianxia that has caught my interest.

This is based on dangerous liaisons? I have the ’80s movie dangerous liaisons purchased on my tv, so might as well Watch it this week to get what its about, so to what i can expect for the kdrama. Ofc I know the kdrama won’t be exact the same as dangerous liaisons, but it should still have many similarities , right ?

I’m looking forward to the secondary couple more, I have a feeling I Will like them more than the main couple 😍 (but ofc my feeling could be wrong …so lets wait and see~)

And some people can’t stand Ae Sun , they think she is too mean to Gwansik. While yes she can be rude sometimes, she is still fiercely loyal to him too🥺 Gwansik and Ae Sun has in my opinion a very healthy relationship that feels very equal (which must have been very uncommon in 60s/70s) I love them so much. They are relationship goals! If they keep being this wonderful of a couple until the the remaining episodes they will be my favorite drama couple 🥺🥺 i love both Gwansik and Ae Sun, they’re so strong and I love how wonderful parents they are too…they truly love and treasure their daughter ❤️ i notice d in so many dramas parents while yes they love their kids can be still so mean and harsh to them, but not Gwansik and Ae Sun 😍

I remember people in the past not liking IU’s acting until My Mister came along where she proved everyone wrong - that she in fact is an great actress!

Sorry if this been asked a lot already .. but anyone know if the next 4 episodes (that Will air this coming friday) Will be the last episodes of that we will see IU and Park Bo Gum’s young adult characters Ae Sun and Gwan Sik ? And maybe after ep 8, we’ll no longer see them ..? instead we will see Park Bo Gum and IU acting as other characters , IU acting now as the daugher of the middle age Ae Sun (Moon So Ri) and Gwan Sik (Park Hae Joon) while PBG acting as her love interest..? While we get to follow also the middle age Ae Sun and Gwan Sik acted by Moon So Ri and Park Hae Joon ?

Ae Sun and Gwan Sik are relationship goals! One of the best couples out there!! They have each other’s backs no matter what, both protecting each other ..always have always will. I love how in love they are with each other even after marriage and a kid. So much devotion and love, also they are loving parents. Their relationship is so sweet and pure, full of respect! They make a amazing team , they feel like equals..which I guess was not common at all in 60s/70s Korea. Gwan sik grew up in a patriarchal family where women is seen as less valuable then men but he still grew up into a kind, sweet Gentle soul who is not afraid to show love and emotions and vulnerability, he doesn’t fit to how a korean man back in that time period ”should” be like..like super macho and cold etc. He is so supportive of Ae Sun’s dreams etc , he would never try to stop her from trying to pursue her dreams, he wouldn’t feel his masculinity being threatened or anything like that if she did other things outside the house than just cooking cleaning etc..he is 100% supportive of her always.

He is wonderful and already one of my favorite MLs out there, he is one of the greenest green flags out there! I doubt tho that there is in real life anyone out there as loyal and devoted as he is ?? Seems almost impossible. He says Ae Sun is his everything and he is always on her side ..and he means it too, he doesn’t just say it he also shows it by actions even taking her side over his family side. He’s a true gem!

And I want what he and Ae Sun has, if I ever marry i want a marriage like theirs..i love how protective they always been of each other ever since as kids and still are even after marriage and a kid. It was so satisfying seeing Ae Sun kicking ass for Gwan Sik and saying to that asshole boss that he Will no longer work for him (because of the mistreatment) and Gwan Sik likes it, he doesn’t mind Ae Sun taking charge from time to time! They’re loyal as hell to each other (not just him ) very satisfying to see. I loved btw how that when boss mocked him ”do you love your wife that fucking much ?” Gwan Sik Said firmly without feeling any shame or whatsoever ”yes i love her so fucking much!” Both him and Ae Sun are very strong and admirable people~

This is one of the best and most beautiful fictional love stories ever told. It’s empathic, healing, pure, gentle yet passionate kind of love story (my favorite kind of love story).

You can totally feel their deep love for each other and how they would go to the moon and back for each other… they are two broken souls who finds love and comfort in each other, thus beginning to heal together and there is nothing more beautiful than that.

Ling and Qi Luo’s love story is timeless, always will be. If you want a raw, deeply moving and touching love story with lots of depth (and angst) then this drama is for you! There is nothing shallow about this story but it’s dark and serious …the love story is the main focus and the heart and soul of MARS , the chemistry is the out of this world kind of chemistry , but no wonder really since Vic Zhou and Barbie Hsu (RIP) were a real life couple back then.

MARS is so emotional and touched me on the deepest level. Will always be one of my all time favorite dramas! The OST is also so memorable.

Based on the trailer I already can tell that Ae Sun and Gwan Sik will become one of my alltime favorite drama couples … not just because they are acted by IU and Park Bo Gum (but Ofc its one of the reasons, but not the only reason.. the chemistry between them seems amazing !! ) .. their love story seems so sweet, touching, heartwarming and emotional. . And so nostalgic, pure and innocent (that is so common in period dramas) .. another period drama couple I love so much are Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si) from Youth of May 🥺

For now I love the second couple more than the main couple! But that can change later on.. its just 2 episodes.. the ML and FL barely know each other that well… when they actually fall truly in love with each other , they could become my favorite couple instead.. but lets see ~! To early to tell yet.. The kiss between them.. wow 🔥🔥

I love the second couple because of how she is so strong and didn’t take him right back , he actually had to work for it , even put aside his pride for her.. aww my heart ❤️❤️❤️ and when they finally did the deed and now they are like two horny naughty bunnies! I hope they will have lots of more moments together !
