I doubt we will see any real nudity. Naked shoulders and backs maximum with lots of angels and shots from afar.…
Ahh, i see. Well of course i’m not expecting any nudity or it even being nearly as explicit as Western shows such as Game of Thrones or Outlander. I was just thinking we get believeble realistic (without it being too explicit ) sex scenes such as the 18+ kdrama ”Nevertheless” for exemple.. so not when it comes to sex just show a little for like only 30 sec and then fade into the black leaving us for Imagination that kdramas usually do .. a little more spice than that i’m expecting 🔥 and seems like thats what we get based on the trailer , but lets see…this is a 18+ kdrama so I am expecting little spicier than 15+ kdramas..
I like that the director here is a woman..not that common in kdramas.. the sex scenes then will also be filmed with female gaze… like , it will be sexualized and steamy ofc but without being too over sexualized and not focus only on the FL (like look how sexy she is etc ) during the sex scenes just to attract the male viewers. I’m not saying its always like this, but often woman directors do the love scenes more beautiful and authentic without it being too explicit. Anyways … so also since the director here is a woman maybe we’ll also see the FL a lot more actually enjoying the sex , we Will maybe see her in lots of pleasure (not only the ML).. since some male directors (just SOME) tend to forget about Female pleasure.. ( like c’mon men is not the only ones who feels pleasure)
It Will be interesting to Watch a kdrama in Joseon era that was very conservative that explores sex and pleasure.. especially interesting because its about also pleasures of women .. in a time period were women well where not supposed to feel any sexual pleasures ..and just lay there like a Dead fish while the the man does all the work. I’m pretty positive in this drama we Will see the FL take lots of action during the sex! And i’m here for it 😁
I’m looking mostly forward to this because of the 18+ in a a romance kdrama (in a saeguk to boot) .. I know this is is not the first 18+ sageuk kdrama out there .. there is the ongoing The Queen Who Crowns.. but the romance there (correct me if I’m wrong , haven’t watched it) doesn’t seem great at all , its not a love story even tho there are steamy scenes .. like you don’t root for the king and queen to be together? I’m correct? But The Scandal of Chun Hwa is a pure love story, so we are meant to root for the main couple! So I’m looking forward to this drama as what I want to Watch is a 18+ kdrama love story with a great OTP that has amazing chemistry, a OTP you care for! Not just some 18+ kdrama with a pairing that is not good for each other where there is no love from one of the sides (or both sides) , so the steamy scenes doesn’t even give me any butterflies then as i don’t care about them as a couple. I hope this drama will have a lots of feel / feelings / deep emotions to the steamy scenes , mixed with BOTH lust and love!
I’m just a bit dissapointed about the love triangle.. I’m a bit allergic to love triangels! Hopefully no SLS.. i hope the ML is greater / more interesting than SML so that I won’t get SLS!
I think Ji Yun will resent Eun Ho / be very angry at him and blame him for her father’s death for a while (and break up with him) after he tells her that her father died from saving him. I have no idea how she will be able to face him at work after this..I won’t like it at all, but I guess it would be a natural reaction from her part, she will come to her senses after some time and realize that it’s not Eun Ho’s fault at all.
I’m looking forward to this so much! I hope this Will be mature just like ”One Night Spring” an other Han Ji Min drama where she’s dating a single dad too. Her chemistry with Jung Hae In was so natural and good (but no wonder since the director is Ahn Pan Seok where the couples in all of his dramas has amazing chemistry). Their relationship was so beautiful and heartwarming too although i had some problems with HJM’s character in that one (i felt she was too selfish sometimes.. but at least she was strong!) i hope HJM’s character here will be a bit different, but that she will be strong throughout whole drama , just like one One Spring Night.. and that her chemistry with Lee Joon Hyuk will be amazing , just as good as with JHI or even better~
i’m not familiar with this actor but i like he has this mature look to him and is in his 40s (just like HJM) they look like a great match! I just hope there will be no hateful parents involved such as the dad in One Spring Night where he even wanted one of his daughters to not divorce her ABUSIVE husband.. 🤦♀️
If you want to Watch a kdrama where the main couple has amazing chemistry and are very natural together (never cringey or forced or slapstick humor), with natural intimacy, they never look awkward with each other while dating, and they behave like adults do when in love (so yes they even sleep with each other here - one of the most beautiful bed scenes I ever watched in any drama / series / movies) Watch this! Besides the amazing chemistry and natural intimacy, i love how freakin deep their relationship are, there is nothing shallow about their relationship. . They have a very deep connection and deep understanding of each other and their tragic past as little kids where he protects her with his tiny body 🥺🥺 from getting burned and Thats what explains both of their burn scars..gosh it gives me shivers!! and he as an adult still protects her by killing someone ..Wow, how far he would go for her.. and she protects him too which leads to her death , and then he dies too.. and the last words ”i love you” and they die while holding on to each other. . Their relationship was so passionate, intense and yet so pure 🥺🥺 he who didnt care about anyone or anything started to breathe again because of her, because of her he wanted to become a good person..he did become better because of her, he learned to feel things such as happiness, pain , LOVE , etc .. one of the best bad boy/good girl love stories out there Done WELL. He didn’t tho become a good person (but like i Said, he become better ) , but he learned at least to feel things again (things he hadn’t felt since as a Child) so he did become more human with feelings and emotions.
The bond between him and her is one of the strongest i ever seen in dramaland, they are totally soulmates! They are each other’s world and comfort zone, almost as if they cant breathe properly without the other one and she even saying she can’t live without him. Their relationship goes way beyond the physical and lust , it goes goes so much deeper .. its as if they are two souls in one.
I’m actually satisfied with their tragic ending , at least they died together and both knowing they love each other. I don’t see any way they could live happily ever after together, he would probably gotten death penalty..and being on the run forever sounds impossible to me. This is best kind of ending they both could have..
They will always remain one of my favorite couples, a bit like Romeo and Juliet (not just because they both died but also because their love was forbidden) .
And oh, when she Cried hysterically behind his door after he broke up with her (him breaking up with her actually made completely sense, which is not always the case in dramaland) her begging .. it was so painful to hear, Jung So Min is one of the best actresses when it comes to crying! It was so raw, and painful..sounded so REAL, you totally felt her heartbreak. 😭💔he had to hold his hands to his ears hard because hearing her cry and begging was breaking his Heart too, he had to call her brother to come and pick her up , both for his and her sake..he wanted nothing more than to run and open the door and hug and comfort her 🥺🥺
One of the most heartbreakingly beautiful love stories ever told.. i love that we get to see Seo In Guk and Jung So Min as Grim reapers in Abyss in the first ep for a few min , like for many others i like to think that its Moo Young and Ji Kang after death🥹 and i want to make it clear that while i thought the ending in TSHLYE was the best while tragic , Ofc it was still very painful for me too to Watch .. in many dramas that ends in death makes no sense to me, but here it does! Having a happy ending would feel forced and unrealistic, it wouldnt suit the feeling/tone of this drama at all.
And one of the very few dramas where the childhood connection is Done well too, in so many dramas they just put them as childhood friends just for it to seem like ”fate” but its just not necessary at all and just forced, brings nothing to the story. But here its anything but forced, the childhood connection here actually is SO necessary and makes their relationship even more deep and beautiful.
Im very thankful there is a kdrama like this, that while not as dark or controversional as the original from Japan , they still managed to make this controversional/dark enough for being a kdrama. .
And it never brothered me that Jin Kang dated Moo Young who her friend dated at first, because their friendship didnt seem that deep to me, it felt a bit fake. And the heart wants what it wants ..also Moo Young and Ji Kang was soulmates, so of course they couldn’t help but to be drawn to each other..
I understand why some can’t like this couple tho, because well Moo Young was too messed up, but their relationship worked for me, i found their relationship amazing ..they had intense chemistry already from the start even when he was first dating her friend. And their love was so genuine, real and RAW.
I feel like watching this just because I watched Seo In Guk in ”The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” where he was AMAZING and his character was very dark - complete opposite from here where he seems nice, innocent, pure, naive… it would be interesting to see him playing two completely different characters! Not every actor/actress can play well different kind of roles, but I believe that Seo in Guk can!
Well 2 upcoming dramas of this month I’m looking forward to.. this and The tale of lady ok. Tbh i don’t think there are any other upcoming dramas the rest of this year i’m looking forward to, at least not nearly as much this and lady ok.
I guess arranged marriages between very rich families in Korea is still not that uncommon? Ofc to ensure/secure family companies.
ah these people acting like this drama is released and dissapointed them?? what the hell is wrong with you?? it…
I remember when Crash Landing on You was gonna air , people were already bashing it a lot even before first ep aired. saying it looks like a total mess (based on the trailers ) and that it looks like a copy of My Love From the Star (based on the poster).. but it turned into a huge hit and majority fell in love with that drama. Mr Plankton could turn into a mess, or into something amazing (i’m hoping for the latter ofc ) i have learnt not to be too harsh with dramas before they air even if the trailers doesn’t look that great, could still turn out amazing.
Btw i got the impression that Park Shin Hye was not very passionate about her acting career in the past , cuz she didn’t Star in a new drama every year (some of her dramas are even more than 1 year in between ) while other actors / actresses starred in a new drama a lot more often than her… interesting How it seems like she gained back her passion for acting after getting married and having a child ..when its usually the oppposite in korea .. y’know actresses starring in lots of dramas but after getting married and having kid(s) they star in dramas much less after that or even quit their acting career completely… Meanwhile PSH has 2 dramas of this year after marriage and a kid and the kid is like what only 2 years at most or so ? Many k-actresses usually take a long break after kid until the kid is much older .. but not PSH (and that quite surprised me, cuz i got the impression that PSH is more idk traditional… who would enjoy being a housewife .. nothing wrong with that ofc, being a housewife or a career women - neither of them is wrong )
im glad she can continue acting despite her kid still being super young and still be a wife/ mom without having to give up one of them (family life or career) oh i could be wrong but i think this is the first time even that PSH has 2 dramas in same year ??? good for her tho 👍👍 girl is working hard 🔥
I have Been in Kdrama slump for so long but this one is the first upcoming Kdrama of this year Im super excited…
Also, since i’m fully excited about this drama i’m gonna watch immediately the first ep after it Been subbed without waiting to come here to see what other think of it before deciding if its worth a try or not.. those dramas i’m not fully excited about i wait like a few hours after the first ep Been subbed to read other opinions about it before i decide if its worth a watch or not
I have Been in Kdrama slump for so long but this one is the first upcoming Kdrama of this year Im super excited about 😍the rest upcoming kdramas of this year i’m not super excited about. . For this drama i’m not just half excited …but FULLY excited! The other kdramas of this year i have had zero interest in or just Been half interested .. i haven’t even Been fully interested in the very hyped ”Love Next Door” . But this , this is exactly my type of drama!! Strong fierce beautiful anti heroine and kindhearted sweet (but No weak) hero! And for once a FL demon ^_^
Also nice to see Park Shin Hye wanting to try something very new , Where she for once not some nice next door kind of girl. I’m proud of her for taking this kind of challenge! She looks absolutely stunning in here … i hope and believe the chemistry between the leads Will be 🔥🔥🔥
